Dark Knight's Joker Strikes!Source: cired, synasp May 19, 2007 Scooper 'cired' wrote in with an interesting bit: Hey, I work in a comic book store in Southern California, and Friday we found these hidden Joker cards all around the store. It looks like a guerilla marking campaign from Warner Brothers. The cards seemed to have these words rubber stamped onto them and they all say I BELIEVE IN HARVEY DENT TOO! HAHAHAHAHAH! on them. I think they're pretty awesome. 'synasp' wrote in with the following. Could it be filming for Wanted instead? Hey, I was playing volleyball on Oak St. beach today and the Batman helicopter flew over, then did a straight show down Michigan Ave. ...so they're still filming.
It's the same helicopter I photographed on my website.
Also, it's 2am right now, and there are spotlights going up and down over the building where Batman stands at the very top (I think the court room building). I also just heard screeches from a car stopping suddenly. This could either be Dark Knight or that Angelina Jolie movie...End of Article.

Press Ctrl+a and see what happens... There are also some letters there that don't quite fit. I went through it and it creates a message. It says "See You In December". You know what that means, the first trailer will be in December! 2008 can't get here soon enough!

Anthony Michael Hall (DEAD ZONE) has reported that he is going to be playing a role in THE DARK KNIGHT. Now, I have never seen a thing that Hall has ever done (how did I miss FREDDY GOT FINGERED?), but this news really intrigues me. Why? Well because as he says: "I signed a confidentiality agreement, and I can't say which part I'm playing because it affects the story... I can't give away the suspense — it's a $200 million surprise, and I don't want to be the guy to ruin it."A BATMAN BEGINS spoiler is going to follow... Although if you haven't seen the movie yet, I guarantee you have better things to do than read this article. One of my favourite parts in BATMAN BEGINS was right at the end when Commissioner Gordon tells Bats about the new villain and gives him the Joker playing card. I thought it was brilliant, kind of like when at the end of RED DRAGON someone tells Lector he has a visitor. Obviously I don't want exactly the same thing again, but I think if Hall is playing a character that is so pivotal that just the mention of the character's name is going to be a spoiler, then this is fairly major news. Or maybe I'm just blowing this out of proportion because it's THE DARK KNIGHT related. I can't really picture him as a high-profile villain... What do you guys think? End of Article. The new image of Heath Ledger as The Joker in The Dark Knight has now been removed from IBelieveinHarveyDentToo.com. It's been replaced with red text that gives the error, "Page not found." If you highlight the entire page, however, you'll see a ton of Ha Ha Ha's with some letters here and there that don't belong. String those letters together and what do you get? - "See you in December."
We assume you'll get a first look at The Joker in a trailer for the sequel at that time. Warner Bros. has both Nicole Kidman's The Golden Compass and Will Smith's I Am Legend opening in December, to which the teaser could be attached to.
So who is behind all this? It looks to be 42 Entertainment, the company which previously created the "I Love Bees" promotion for "Halo 2" and "Year Zero" for the Nine Inch Nails album "Year Zero." The company just registered SeeYouinDecember.com yesterday, so stay tuned.
The Dark Knight opens in theaters on July 18, 2008

42 Entertainment is such an awesome company. For those of you who don't know about them, search Year Zero and the marketing behind that. Incredibly well thought out, deep, and just all around awesome. Lets hope we get something just as complex for The Dark Knight.

I heard the rumor that there will be a teaser in front of Harry Potter, but it will be just that, a teaser. The description of it is cards falling and I think you hear the Joker laugh or something or other. We don't see him though. I think we'll actually get to see him in motion in December when the full trailer is released. |

'Dark Knight' Will Have IMAX Scenes

Director Christopher Nolan plans to shoot parts of the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight, in the IMAX format, USA Today reported today (Tuesday). It would mark the first time a major studio has used the cumbersome process in a feature. Four action sequences, including the introduction of the Joker, played by Heath Ledger, will employ the giant-screen process. They will fill the entire IMAX screen, producing the reality-like images that the process is famous for. (Some conventional films have been converted to the IMAX format, but the result is technically inferior to films that are originally shot with the IMAX system.) Nolan told USA Today: "Batman has some of the most extraordinary characters in pop culture. We wanted the Joker to have the grandest entrance possible. I figured if you could take an IMAX camera to Mount Everest or outer space, you could use it in a feature movie."

There have been rumors circulating around the normal internet circles that Warner Bros. won't have anything related to the Batman sequel The Dark Knight ready to go for the San Diego Comic-Con.
Well, guess what? That isn't so.
ComingSoon.net's Superhero Hype! has just received confirmation from one of our most reliable sources that Warner Bros. plans on debuting a teaser in front of some screenings of 20th Century Fox's The Simpsons Movie on July 27, which just so happens to be the same day as the Warner Bros. panel at Comic-Con in San Diego.
