I got MM cause ever since I threw in Antichrist Superstar yesterday i cant stop thinking about it. What a powerful fucking record. My favourite is The Golden Age of Gortesque (so far). I love that picture, if pops up almost anywhere that has anything to do with Marilyn Manson. It's a bit intense for an avatar for me, I'd get pretty morbid after a while  It has a powerful impact, though. Good choice. |

If it was too me, then I don't know which avatar you're talking about, since I tried many different just now. But could it have been the "Wolf Man"-picture? I still look for a good avatar, the one now (From Hard Boiled) is just temporary. And if you mean 'my' words, I can tell you that it's from Det Sjunde Inseglet (The Seventh Seal) by Ingmar Bergman (the film is in my top 20). I just love those words... kiddo, your avatar doesn't work anymore.  My avatar is from the ultra awesome Cowboy Bebop, but you could read that on the avatar itself. My title "Piltup Man" is a reference to Piltdown Man, which was a small collection of bones believed to be an evolutionary missing link between ape and man, but has since been revealed to be a forgery. The phrase is used popularly to represent something that is false; so, if you encounter a Piltdown of some sort in literature, the name is a tip-off that something is going on that isn't true. So, a Pilt up man, I presume, would be the opposite of a Pilt down man, in other words, what is being said is true. Basically, smarty pants reference. |
