Beauty and the Beast SMOKES Lion King. It is an amazing achievement. I love the Lion King a lot, and am more nostalgic for it than BatB, but BatB is a better film.

Snow White and Pinochio (sp?) are both better. Not to mention Jungle Book and 101 Dalmations. RANK YOUR DISNEY! ARE YOU MAN ENOUGH!

Not sure if this counts because it's mainly puppetry, but I love Lecke Faust by Jan Svankmajer (spelling?). Basically the faust tale with puppets. made in early-mid 90's (I think). Well worth checking out.

Also recently watched Spirited Away and loved it.

The Iron Giant is a great film. Brad Bird is a cool animation director. I liked the Incredibles, also, but not as much as the Iron Giant.

Mine? Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door - Top #1, love it more than Godfather, Spirited Away - Top 10 Grave of the Fireflies - Top 10 The Animatrix - all nine shorts collected into one release - Top 15 Triplets of Belleville - Top 20 Waking Life - Top 20 Sin City - Top 50 Steamboy - Top 100 Iron Giant - Top 100 Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within - Top 100 The Incredibles - Top 100 I have many more to go, and the listing is not exactly top-down 1-100 as there still is some shifting, but that's how it stands right now. edit: I need to rewatch Advent Children before having a more definite opinion on it, besides that I enjoyed the music. However, I will get behind the Spirits Within. I just think too many people looked at the Final Fantasy tag and expected an epic story, instead of a subtle and rather personal story. Who wants that from a series where you SAVE THE WORLD?
