The only Wenders I have seen is the music doc, Buena Vista Social Club, It was good, but Rodriguez made the El Mariachi trilogy plus Sin City, so my vote goes to him.

If no one else votes by the 24 hour mark, I will settle this by taking the one with the best rottentomatoes rating.

Okay, the deciding vote is Rotten Tomatoes. Wenders is a 70% and Rodriguex is a 62%. So the win here is Wenders 2-1. Next one will be up soon.

I love Richard and the majority of his films. But Chaplin is one of the true masters of the game. The Great Dictator and City Lights are amazing films. Plus look at all the films he churned out, an average of about 13 per year in the '10's. So my vote goes to Chaplin

I've only seen City Lights, and as much as I love that film, based solely on that, I have to give the slight edge to Linklater.
