Okay, I got around to making one. Don't mind the stupid Region 2 releases, this interface is really clunky and horrible, so about ten or fifteen of my DVDs are apparently Region 2 when they are not. Oh well. Basic list is down. www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?id=iedvd |

I actually like DVDAficionado more than DVDSpot. DVDAF is so easy to use and they have, what seems like, more DVD's. It is also a good place to see DVD's that are going to be coming out, and to see artwork before a lot of places. And the "compare pricing" thing is pretty cool. I have both, but only update DVDAficionado, but I will update DVDSpot soon.

Actually, DVDAficionado, as I've explained, is horriblely hard to use. I'm not sure where you got the idea that it's easy to use.  Perhaps it just doesn't work well with my system, but I found it clunky and really hard to deal with. Although DVDSpot does have a harder updating system. I don't really care that much about the features, but I kind of like knowing how much I've spent on DVDs. Even though I bought most of mine for $4... Overall, one vote for DVDAficionado, one vote for DVDSpot. |

with DVD Spot, i also like how you can track what you watch and when. so basically, dvdaficionado's for the collector on the go, since it's faster, but DVD Spot's for when you like more detail and have some time to kill and screw around.

Yeah, I see what you are saying. I did like keeping track of how much you spend, but I have forgotten how much I spent on so many of my DVD's that I couldn't really get into the feature too much. It is cool that you can show what you have lent out, and to who and on what date. I don't like how DVDSpot has so many pages for the DVD's, I like that DVDAf only has one page.

If I had access to a decent digital camera, you'd see all... four places I store my DVDs. Upstairs, where I store the less "accessable" things. Downstairs is where I keep most of the DVDs I've seen or think I've seen. In my room, in my table being the DVDs I should get around to watching. And in my room, near my alarm clock being the ones I need to get around to watching soon. Eventually, these will be streamlined. |
