Walkabout is one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen.
Unfaithfully Yours is hilarious.
Children of Paradise in in my top 20!
Can't wait to hear how the rest of them are, especially Gospel According to Saint Matthew!

Bought: Only $9.99! Thank God I was able to get this film, it is so much fun but now that it is out of print I would have never been able to get it for this cheap. I am pretty lucky.

I just bought Thriller: A Cruel Picture for a friend for his birthday. I bought the film around this time last year (I think it was 9/20/05) and loved it. Sure it isn't for everyone but if you like films like this (revenge/exploitation) it's a great find.

I need Grave of the Fireflies. Everyone does.
I just never ordered it from Amazon because it's $0.01 short of free shipping. It frustrates me because I only like to spend around $25 to $30 on Amazon in one order, so, you know, I don't want to buy a whole bunch of stuff. And I haven't looked around in stores too much.

Grave of the Fireflies is a masterpiece.
Anyway, rented:
The Last Waltz Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains the Same Castle in the Sky (I gotta show this to Dan. BeeD sucks!) Talk to Her Once Upon a Time in China An Evening With Kevin Smith

Enjoy all those!
Song Remains the Same, as you can see in my review, is a masterpiece. It's one of the best concerts ever recorded.
An Evening with Kevin Smith is so funny. I could listen to him talk forever. Every story he tells it awesome.
Been wanting to see Talk to Her for a long time now.

It was honestly a blind buy. I haven't seen it but wanted to and I saw it yesterday for $15 and couldn't pass that up.

Love that set, such an awesome package. I heard if you put it in the fridge then take it out it feels like dead skin.

Yes, that is easily one of the best sets ever. It is soo packed I don't think it could be made any better. I can't wait to get my copy signed by Romero!

All I had was the one-disc DVD Anchor Bay released about a year before the set. I knew I had to upgrade but waited till the price went down. I ended up getting a steal with Deep Discount DVD. They were having a sale with a Buy One Set get one free. I bought The Evil Dead 1/2 LE Book set and in return got the DoTD set Free. Damn good deal if you ask me. And is there a real difference in the 3 versions of the film? I don't want to watch them and only see very minor differences in some scenes/dialogues. I'm hoping for three different experiences.

Yes they are pretty different, but i would recommend watching the films w/commentaries instead of each version because during the tracks they talk about the changes in the film so you can switch in and out of the track. I know one version has quite a bit of extra stuff in there that is pretty awesome, Dario Argento's cut, so you might want to watch that one without the commentary on at first. But for the other cuts you can do either or. As for the last disc, Document of the Dead is one of the best making-of docs ever made. And the new doc on there is great as well.
