Some great bands you have listed there. I'm really glad you love Yes, they are so underappreciated.

They are definitly not one of the worst bands. The lyrics are amazing, just a picture of how the members of the band were living back then. Use Your Illusion may be a bloated beast of a double album. But there are about 10 classics on the album. The are extremely talented and almost single handedly crushed glam metal along with Metallica and Nirvana.

Amen! Roses voice is one of the most pure rock voices ever. They are one of the all-time best bands. You can't deny thier talent.

I didn't mean that they crushed them. I meant that all three played a part in the downfall of hair metal. Metallica>G N' R> Nirvana.

LOL blackmoses.
Who else is anticipating Thom Yorke's solo album, The Eraser? The new single is quite good, sort of similar to the stuff on Radiohead's Amnesiac, particularly Packt Like Sardines... and Dollars & Cents. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.
I recently heard a song from The Butterfly Effect's new album Imago (Everybody Runs) - amazing stuff! Begins Here, their first album, was utterly brilliant, and I can't wait for their new one.

I like there riffs, but the singer's voice is annoying. And they do not smoke everything out there today. Maybe everything on the radio and nu-metal, but there are some band making good music today, but nobody seems to notice.

I'm actually gonna see 'em live next week in a festival here in Norway. Their NOT my main attraction, OPETH and TOOL are! I thought their latest album was just OK, nothing special but I don't listen to that type of rock n' roll anymore. I'm abit heavyer and progressive in taste anyway...
