Good punk stuff, trust me, love it while it lasts. The punk phase ends after about a year. Yea, I have heard of that band, haven't heard that particular record but I will at some point.

Well I have liked punk since I started liking music (Ramones, The Clash, The Sex Pistols), so I have consistently liked it for years now, but I am getting deeper into the genre at the moment. Trust me, it will never wear off. My liking of punk has even got blackmoses to all of a sudden start liking it too. And I hope you love that band, it’s got Rick Wakeman in it. Check out the song I recommended first if you listen to anything.

A solid effort from The Exploited, in no way for everyone, unless you like raw, loud, repetitive punk epics like the masterful "Sex & Violence". I can't get that song out of my fucking head. If you want to check them out though, I would recommend starting with "Punks Not Dead". Perfect name for an amazing album, it describes it/them so well. Tough to say what to start with, maybe "What Love is"? So much fucking energy. Any F. Mac fans in the house? If so, you owe it to yourself to check this album out. Besides the stunning cover, you get such classics as "Lola", "Crying in the Night", and "Long Distance Winner". Haven't fully listened yet, but so far it is sounding to be another Gram Parsons masterpiece. Love everything I have heard so far. Anyone who likes grunge doesn't truly like it till they hear this album, which obviously influenced the definition of grunge. "Little Furry Things" and "In a Jar" will blow your mind. Also look for their Cure cover online. Yes, that is a 15 year old girl naked, she just happens to be the lead singer of this album. Man, if you think you have fun now, just listen to this album. Don't let "Fools Rush In" or "I Want Candy" spoil what you think of this band. "Jungle Boy" and "TV Savage" are both great songs. Also, for another amazing song by them check out “C30, C60, C90”. Hardcore basically defined. Rarely does it get much better than this. DANCE HARD OR DIE MOTHA FUCKAS!! "Big Dick" yes. One of the best straight-up reggae albums I have ever heard, he outdoes Marley on like 3 tracks. "Marcus Garvey" I saved the best for last, just a fucking stunning album. One of the best ever made, easily. Country never will be this good again. I am on the floor begging everyone to check this out. It starts off with one of the best songs ever written, "Christine's Tune", "Dark End of the Street", then "Hot Burrito #1" "...#2" are both masterpieces as well. Over time this will works its way up into like the twenty best albums I have heard. Any questions, ask.

My liking of punk has even got blackmoses to all of a sudden start liking it too. What? ? No. You must be insane or something, I can't believe you even said this. Okay, I wasn't even going to grace you with a response, but I am giving you one last chance to prove you are not a moron, and I am going to say something and see if you can not respond to something that doesn’t need responded to for once. I don't even understand what the debate is. I started listening to punk music, and now you are listening to a bunch of punk bands. That is what is obvious. I didn't say it as an insult; I was just saying it to beed. I listened to Velvet Underground, then traced its roots up and down, and started listening to some punk bands, which is when you did as well. Now lets shoot back like 5 years into the past, "oh eminem is so good dawg" and all the other stuff you liked, while there I was, listening to sex pistols, the clash, and the ramones. Not to mention the misfits, which came about two years later. I even owned a sex pistols shirt before you heard one song. And then also the fact that I was the one who got you to listened to good music, which included the ramones, which would make me the one who showed you punk in the first place. It doesn't matter, you can try and listen to different punks bands or whatever, I don't care. I was just saying it to beed about how much I love punk, I am glad someone else likes it as much as me. And you even can introduce me to some punks bands, as do I. Now take note to what I said towards the beginning, and don't respond. I was just setting the record straight instead of just deleting your post. By the way, I just got all three Fiona Apple albums, the first X-ray Spex album, and Illinois. And beed, I am surprised you didn't like it. I still need to burn the album onto a disc in the correct order and listen to it through in one listen in order to fully rate it, but I am really liking all the songs off of it. Not a perfect album, but still really good. (in my opinion)

And you even can introduce me to some punks bands, as do I. Now take note to what I said towards the beginning, and don't respond. I was just setting the record straight instead of just deleting your post. Come on, how am I supposed to not respond to this? I thought you were just going to not respond to me. What are you telling me? The reasons I listen to something? It isn't like I am only getting into punk music, I am also listening to a bunch of other new stuff, punk is just some of that stuff. You don't understand this debate? Maybe because there isn't one. You said why I am liking something. And I said no. I think I know why I do stuff. There, debate over. I know why I do stuff. You actually have know way of knowing why I do stuff unless I tell you why. You listening to something before me doesn't mean anything. I listened to some bands before you. Am I the reason you are all of a sudden just listening to them? Possibly, but not necessarily, and most likely no. I didn't say it was an insult. I was simply saying you are wrong. You liking punk did have some effect on me but it isn't like I just like it to try and be cool because you like it. Yeah I liked Eminem and still do like him. He is fantastic. Easily in my top 100 favorite bands and top 5 favorite rappers of all time. Is that a bad thing? And you know I didn't say stuff like "dawg". But you also liked a bunch of terrible music then. "I was, listening to sex pistols, the clash, and the ramones. Not to mention the misfits, which came about two years later. I even owned a sex pistols shirt before you heard one song." So I like these bands because of this? I don't try and listen to different bands. You should be happy, but you don't need to be like "all of a sudden" like for no reason, but you liking punk, I like it.

Digital: Fiona Apple has one of the most beautiful and powerful voices I have ever heard. I am not even a girl, last time a checked, but I can still feel her music, her emotion can get me to connect maybe not with the lyrics, but in general. Listening to her is one of my new favorite things to do. I also really have a ‘thing’ for her, not only could I fuck the notes she sings, but... Rankings: When the Pawn Hits the Conflicts He Thinks like a King What He Knows Throws the Blows When He Goes to the Fight and He'll Win the Whole Thing Fore He Enters the Ring There's No Body to Batter When Your Mind Is Your Might So When You Go Solo. You Hold Your Own Hand and Remember That Depth Is the Greatest of Heights and If You Know Where You Stand. Then You'll Know Where to Land and If You Fall It Won't Matter, Cuz You Know That You're Right., Tidal, Extraordinary Machine The first two being two of my favorite albums ever, the third being a very good album. Recommended song(s): "Get Gone" and "Criminal" A fantastic British girl punk band from the late 70's. One of my favorites in fact, it integrates loud scratchy female vocals, punk rock, and jazz (including some awesome saxophone playing). Recommended song(s): Start off with the song "Oh Bondage Up Yours" which isn't on this album, if you like it, then check out "Identity" which is on this album. Good album so far, although the best song is still "They are Night Zombies!!...". I have to dig more into this. Recommended song(s): "They are Night Zombies!!..." Then I went on a rap downloading spree: I said my thoughts in the "Recommend Music" thread. Recommended song(s): "Come Clean" More like Underrated MC's. I can't believe this album doesn't get more props; it is really a great album. Kool Keith is a fantastic rapper. I love this old school rap sound. Recommended song(s): "Critical Beatdown" I can't give praise to this album enough; it has always been one of my favorite rap albums. These guys are all geniuses yo, the way they sample old kung-fu flicks, their beats, their lyrics, it is all perfect. Recommended song(s): I can't really pick one song, it is just too hard. Check out the whole thing. After re-listening to that album again I had to go and snag some of the Wu Crew's albums: This is a stunning display and features everything great about GZA. Anyone who likes rap and hasn't heard this doesn't know what they are missing. Recommended song(s): "Cold World" and "Liquid Swords" By far the worst Wu member lyrically, but his fucking energy. It is just insane how much energy this guy has though, and how bizarrely his lyrics are spit. Really, just how plain crazy his lyrics are to begin with. I love him. Recommended song(s): "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" which is one of the most fun rap songs ever.

Not really a fan of Fiona Apple or any of the rap except the occasional Wu Tang. But I do like Sufjan alot. He is so unique in a musical world that today has no individuality.

Not an In Through the Out Door fan, there is only one song I actually really like, the others are just okay. Thoughts?

In Through the Out Door is unfairly disliked really. Its just Zep improving upon their sound. Adapting to the change in times if you will. It is their worst record no doubt, but that doesn't mean it is bad. You have to remember that Jimmy was pretty cracked out on heroin so his parts aren't exactly phenomenal, but he still plays some pretty decent stuff. ITTOD is not one of those records you can just listen to once. You have to dig deeper into it to truly appreciate.
Overall, I think that if we gave Zep another album to work with, they would have perfected this sound and made another classic record provided that Jimmy and Bonham cleaned up a little. But alas, Bonham died and Zep disbanded. A shame really...
Every Rush album is amazing, they are so distinctive. 2112 the song is such an opus. I love the part where the guy discovers the guitar for the first time. And starts playing it, it sounds so much like someone who first discovered a guitar would play (Discovery is what it is fittingly called), up until the chords at least. Of course, the writing and the rest of the music is so blazing. Especially the parts of the title song where they do the loud-soft dynamic emphasizing the difference between the guitar kid and the Priests. The rest of the songs on that record are spectacular too. A great mix of heavier stuff such as Something for Nothing and ballads like Tears.
