You bought some Opeth, though not the one I told you to pick up. Have you listened to that one yet?

I love this album so much, well the songs I have heard from it. I only have three songs I haven't. I will grade it when I listen to it.

It's the only one of Beef's albums that I've been checking out so I bought it yesterday. Which songs do you like best?

I have been fucking loving velvet underground and nico as of late. Check out some John Cale albums. He was a founding member of the Velvet Undergroud. I recommend Paris 1919 to start. Okay, I will. Got these masterpieces (all burned): Forever Changes is such a fucking fantastic album, why does no one ever talk about it!? It is one of the best I have ever heard, I recommend it to everyone.

I got an amazing +Janis Joplin cd, I don't know what it's called because it has way more songs than any of the records I've seen. +This: +This: +A really cool live (and really obscure) Sex Pistols record featuring, among others: Anarchy In The U.K. No Fun Don't You Give Me No Lip, Child Pretty Vacant ...And about ten other songs. +Another obscure record by Muddy Waters: +The Diesel Whores - The Fear And: +Muse +The Verve +Royksopp And a bunch of other stuff.

Its pretty good, very eighties sounding, dominated by the synth. Nowhere near his Who stuff or even his early solo stuff, but a good listen nonetheless.

Digital: I was downloading some Damned and came across a compilation called "Best Punk Album...ever!" and decided to check it out, boy I am glad I did. While it is no where near a perfect album, nor would I call it even good since they mix bands in here that clearly aren't punk and so forth, but it introduced me to some good bands (X Generation, etc.), so I couldn't ask for more. Anyone getting into punk should check it out. Also before I snagged that album, I grabbed these: Such an amazing band, they easily rank up there as one of my favorite bands. I decided it was finally time to snag their first two albums. Glad I wasn't disappointed. Damned have this style, well more than one actually, that I just love. It is just so powerful and fun to listen to these albums; any fan of punk must get them both, as they are about equal in my eyes. Such a fun fucking band. I will say that they are an acquired taste, but one that I have acquired. They aren't actually super talented musically, but they are creative and for girls, they pack a bunch (and a kick in the sack). (Also, for anyone who likes this band, I recommend tracking down their cover of "Heard It through the Grapevine," just stunning) You've heard this I am assuming beed? If not go check this out soon, you should love it. And if you haven't heard this band, go now listen to some of their shit, I recommend the song "Part of the Union".
