Don't forget about Manhunt 2 next month! Im getting pumped for the Wii release of that, but even more so for next weeks RE4 Wii Edition release for $30. Even though I played through it on the PS2 AND Gamecube, i'd be happy to play again with the Wiimote. |

They released it with no mouse support, no shaders, horrible controls.... In fact they just released a gigantic patch that adds shaders into the engine so it doesnt look fullbright/16bit anymore.... It brought it up to quality still slightly under that of the PS2... |

yea i read that they demolished a perfect game to straight garbage on the PC, which makes no sense cause usually its the perfect PC games that get made into F'd up console games. When they released Halo on the PC it was better imo, same thing with the GTA's.

sweet manhunt link, malicious. i heard about manhunt 2 from amazon, but didn't know if it was suppose to be good or not, but now i am definitely looking forward to it. i just beat some more of manhunt and it looks as though i only have 3 scenes left, hopefully i will beat those before the new one comes out.

 I got Turok: Dinosaur Hunter for the N64 for $5.99 over the weekend. I threw it in and forgot how great it controlled. I remember renting this the week it came out back in '97 and beating it over the night cause i was so obsessed. I got Rainbow Six Vegas last Wednesday for the PS3. Love it! I got Turok: Dinosaur Hunter for the N64 for $5.99 over the weekend. I threw it in and forgot how great it controlled. I remember renting this the week it came out back in '97 and beating it over the night cause i was so obsessed. I always meant to get it again and play thru it but never got the chance until a few days ago. You know they're making a new one for the PS3 and 360 right? Looks pretty cool. |

Turok should be multi platform anyway, as will the new GTA be. I dont know if it worth getting a PS3, to much money and not really better than the 360.

Sure, there aren't a ton of games out for it yet, but honestly, I don't have the cash to be dropping $60 on a game every couple weeks. Maybe some people do, but I'm not one of 'em. Besides, I'm content with the game I have now anyways (they'll keep me busy for a while). Plus, the drought seems to be over as some real cool games are coming out/are out such as Rainbow Six Vegas, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Lair, The Darkness, GTA IV, Heavenly Sword, Stranglehold etc. |

meh, The only thing I would ever want a 360/ps3 for is to get the darkness... Which will eventually, like Riddick, be ported to the PC.
I also find it pretty funny that pretty much every game on that system thats on the 360 too is worse technically... I heard for the ps3 version of the darkness that they had to take out the motion blur, and anti-aliasing and it STILL runs a little worse than the other one on the 360... I guess you can just come to expect that from the cell now.

heh we're all done with oblivion now  And of course the ps3 version will be better, it was a 360 launch title. And I'm pretty sure that GTA4 will come out on 360 same time it does on the ps3. |

Stupid tech choices, unreasonable storage media choice, ridiculously small incompetent amounts of RAM (which in the end will inevitably bottleneck their "uber GPU" with their "OMGCELLCELLCELL67CORE PROCESSOROMGOMGOMGOMG" . Its no wonder why these companies don't wont to get into development with it... I hear the dev kits are a monstrosity too... Also, really, come on. Its not justifiable spending non-descriptive amounts of money and time to "figure" out how to get it working right on the PS3. Wasn't that the entire purpose of consoles? To have an EASY-TO-DEVELOP-FOR platform so that ports, etc (that are so prevalent in the console world) could be done quick and easy? Even you, a standup Sony advocate, has to admit that Sony has done some pretty fucking retarded things with it. Now, I can understand that your trying to justify the 600 bucks you spent on it... But really, everything its been getting as of late are watered down ports from its older 360 brother... And seriously, Oblivion? Comon, I've played that game to death on both 360 and PC and I can tell you now all that they added to the PS3 version is the november patch which pretties up the LOD terrain + the shitty good for nothing plugins that I pirated for the PC version... Thats it! Oh wait! your right! The PS3 version of Oblivion runs better! And has less/better graphics than the 360 build! Whoa! Too bad it took em a year and a half to actually get it out after it was first previewed! Seriously, if they spent that much time on every port you would still be playing resistance... Whatever, I'm done... Theres no way I'm getting into this tired argument even when I don't own either system... (No I dont own a wii :  I cant see the future to know which console will come out on top... oh wait... yea, thats right, I don't care. |

Today I bought chrome hounds and just cause. Rented the darkness which I'm playng through now. So far its a fucking dream, totally the type of game I want to be playing. Its gory, fun well made and the storyline is excellent, oh and the voicework is very nice too.

Just cause sucks major dong. I can't believe all the hubbub on the front cover. Some blurb like bigger than oblivion better than gta, dive into the best game yet on 360. What a fucking joke! So....I traded that in, along with some other stuff and paid the rest to buy guitar hero 2. A game Ive long been playing round friends houses. To have a copy of my own is a dream  Such a fun game, good exercise for the arms too! Oh and I didn't buy chrome hounds, actually its blazing angels. Again, a shitty game. I might keep it to do the achievements though because they are generous and easy sounding. Dull as hell game though. Old guitar hero should keep me going for infinity though so I'm very happy at the mo! |

Aww well thats blows. Guitar hero 3 will apparently be out be xmas though. Many new artists are giving original masters of their songs. Some 80's bands have even gone back and rerecorded especially for. Songs from artists like Tenacious D will feature. Can't wait! Also for rock band, should be a very interesting online experience. Pray its properly optimised and runs smoothly....
