Exactly, though up here, no child labor laws exist after you hit sixteen. I think it has more to do with some films that are only to be shown to people 18 and over, like unrated foreign films and stuff.

You have to be sixteen to work here, but I have something to do over holidays at a corrupt bar that needs extra waitresses over those times.

Well, volunteering is different from employment. I might be stating the obvious here a bit, but with volunteers, they can work in exchange for work experience and perhaps a better foot in the door than just submitting your resume (you know, unpaid internship kind of stuff).

...I know that, that was just my irrelevant addition to the converstion. It isn't even for work experience or anything, I just love love LOVE doing that stuff. And I do get paid for the waitressing.

Im going to pick up a new pair of Jordans tonight if the mall has ANY in my size. I wanted to order some XX's off ebay, but they ended up going for $230 which was $80 more than I was willing to pay for brand new 4 year old shoes that I wear. Anyway, it will be the coolest thing i've done all week if im successful. I'll post a pic if possible.

Nothing today I did was cool. This whole week has been busy though. Tomorrow night is my Senior Prom so that's exciting, but I also have tons of schoolwork to do in a few weeks. Agh! Tomorrow will be great though!

I reshot parts of my film that weren't up to scratch. Also shot a new scene. I think its alrightish enough for me to pass my course. I've thrown all I have at it though and it still isn't that good But Im satisfied with the hopefully good additions.

You have to do something like help out your school, or at an old folk’s home or whatever. It is retarded. I made up like 10 of mine this year, I just had my dad sign it, but the other stuff I did was help out at a rummage sale at my old grade school, and work there for this other stupid thing.

Exactly, andruini, they are forcing us. It is just pointless, if anything it would make us rebel against helping people out since the school is making us do them. You have to do an insane amount, I would probably kill myself. What did you do for your's this year?
