Well, I drove 45 minutes out to this tiny basketball gym to watch our schools team play. We are up 6 points with a minute left, this team we are playing, General McLane, the number one team in the state, comes back ties it up. Game goes into over time. GM has the ball with a minute left, holds it for a last second three and misses. Rebound, timeout, four seconds left on the clock. Our student section is going wild and has been since tipoff. Point guard gets the ball, charges down the court, throws it to our star players under the hoop who lays it in as time runs off the clock. Our section goes wild, jumping on each other, crying, singing the school song as we march out of the gym into the freezing weather. And thats only the start.
Me and 4 other friends pile into my dads small car, mind you one of these friends weighs over three hundred pounds. We are all squished together, and on the way back from the game, snowstorm hits. We can't see at all and my dads car is flying everywhere, sliding from side to side on the road. We could have died at any moment as there were cars on our tail and on the other side of the road. After about an hour of peril, we finally reached home safely.
This might be one of those had to be there moments, but it means a lot to me.

The moment would have been cool if instead of a basketball game you just got out of a theater after seeing a great film, and you were all singing "Tiny Dancer" together instead of that god-awful school song, then all the driving home stuff would have been worth it actually.

You make me sick. Concerts are what you will remember. That game is something you will remember for a few days or weeks and forget. It isn't like in 40 years you are going to be like "you guys remember that high school basketball game". But you will say "you remember the Dave Matthews Band concert".

No, I will remember both. You have no idea what it was like, you weren't there. And even if you were, you would be too busy being anti-sports and anti-establishment with your hoods up in the corner playing hacky sack with Dan, standing up for your ideals even though you are bored rather than getting caught up in the moment and having a great time.
Concerts come and go, I've seen DMB a couple of times. The experiences are great, but some things in life are easier remembered. Many circumstances in my life came together last night and created a lasting memory. You are not gonna argue with me about what I will remember or not remember. Thats just dumb, I guarantee you that in 40 years, my DMB experiences will blend together in my memory, but that one basketball game and trek home will always stay with me.

Thats just dumb, I guarantee you that in 40 years, my DMB experiences will blend together in my memory, but that one basketball game and trek home will always stay with me. I can see what you mean, this will probably be more memorable, but really i don't think the game itself is what you will remember so blackmoses would be right when saying that, it will be the little things with your friends and all that shit, in forty years you will forget the score to the game, but you will never forget how you felt being there. That’s my ending narration to this life-time film I am working on. But seriously, being with people like that irritates the hell out of me, hence the corner playing hacky sack. I would rather be bored or chilling then being mad and annoyed so... plus hacky sack is so much fun. So like I said, neither of you are right, lol! "Put yo hoods up!" You better start swimming or you’ll sink like a stone. (for the record, concerts are not overrated. you guys go to the wrong kind of concerts, i like listening to music like the next guy, but just sitting there watching isn't exactly my tea, my "green tea" is pits, and the experience and feelings while listening to the music. which is why concerts own in my opinion. I have spoken!)

I am talking about underground shows dude, although you were around the age of like 8 when that Rage concert happened so I highly doubt you could appreciate it enough anyways, if you partook in any moshing.
Also, today I was in Borders and some idiot that always comes up to me there to ask me stuff and does stupid things every time I am there came up again to ask me if I "need help" and I always get so pissed that they still come up to me like I am a "no good teenager," so when I thought she walked away I said to ptahole really loud "I wish I would of known she was walking up to us because then I would have said 'maybe instead of bothering us every time we our here [doing nothing] you can leave us alone... we will ask if we need help!’" then she walked back over, I guess she heard me, and I see ptahole run his ass away and she starting talking to me about it, and I grabbed the headphones there and started listening to The Replacements right while she was talking to me. Man, fuck adults! And yes, I am a badass. haha!!!!! She deserved it though, she always follows us around even though we have NEVER done anything bad, and have probably spent more than 99% of the people who are there. Yet, she still asks like we can’t be trusted, plus her voice is irritating as fuck.

I just played the greatest game of Pacman ever played! I can't even breath I am so tired. I crushed level one and then I lost both of my lives on level two, but still beat the level. Then I got on to level 3 and got one life back and then lost it right after I got it, but still got by that level. Then I got to level four. My score was around 12,000, and I thought I was done. I was playing worse then I have ever played in my life. I knew I had no chance of beating my old score, but I could not give up! So I started playing the next levels, and I just OBLITERATED the next 3 or 4 levels. I literally got every one of those guys every single time I got a thing that makes them change colors AND I got the fruit at the same time. I was fucking unstoppable! I got a new life back at 30,000 and now I had about 37,000 and I was on the second level with the grapes. Everyone in my class was gathering around me watching. People were just going nuts! I got to the level with the bananas and I swear there was a mosh pit behind me. My teacher was even in the pit! I was on the second bananas and I had about 46,000 and lost my only life. But I got to the next level and got a new life at 50,000. This game started terrible and was turning into the best game I ever played. I was now on the level with a key! The things in the game stayed blue for about two seconds, I couldn't even get them, they just turned blue and went back instantly! But I got by that level and made it to a level with something that looked like a rocket or something. I lost on that level and my final score was 66510!!!! Greatest game of Pacman I ever played!

A priest at my school sent this email:
"Anyone interested in becoming Catholic who is either un-baptized or from another faith/denomination (ie. Protestant) should get in touch with me today (or at least this week) so we can begin the process called RCIA which is the process of being initiated into the Catholic faith. You may want to talk it over with your parents so they are not caught off guard or surprised about this. They should be on the same page with you on this. This process will be short but effective and your sacraments will be received probably during the Easter season in the Cathedral during an all-school mass. Last year it was really cool when we baptized and confirmed the captains of the football team."
Look at how he mentions the captain of the FOOTBALL team to make it seem cool if you get baptized and all that crap, sickening.
