Umberto D is a really sad film that has a satisfying ending and a good lead performance.

The Bicycle Thief is great! Same with Umberto D. A truly amazing film... You need to check it out, meshuggeth. If you like "down-to-earth" cinema without sentmentality, Umberto D is a nice choice. Need to see more from De Sica myself.
