Yesterday's episode was SO funny. "I honor the ding sir" I almost died! And that Looney Tunes parody, I was crying it was so good. Might have been the best this season.

Oh man, that trailer was AWFUL. First it pimped the 2D even though it was clearly done in that Futurama 2D models with a 3D world animation style, then any promise it could have had instantly went to shit when it descended to Homer getting hurt, again, and again and again.

Have you ever seen "Bart the Daredevil?" Possibly the best episode of the entire series, and Homer falls of a cliff at the end, and keeps falling. Perfect timing. The trailer had great timing as well. At least it wasn't Family Guy where Homer would have said 'ow' thirty-eight times in a row, with the same repeated annoying, bad animation. And as for the whole 3D/2D thing, well I don't really care, it was a throwaway joke in a teaser. The only thing that pissed me off is that they promised a full trailer, and we just got a teaser.

Nice dig at Family Guy, but sif Bart the Dardevil is the best. The following episodes smoke it

In my English class we are reading The Crucible and I brought in Simpsons season nine because on the Treehouse of Horror episode there is a Crucible parody, and since my teacher loves The Simpsons he agreed to show it to all his classes. I am so happy.

Tonight's episode was fantastic, although the end was a miss, it was still an amazing episode. I laughed so much, and so long. 10/10

I haven't mentioned but I am re-watching all the DVD's in reverse order starting with season 9 and working my way down, I am on season 3 right now. God, so many great episodes!

Tonight's episode was one of the best EVER! It made me laugh, cry, think about my life, etc. Seriously, great epsiode.

Tonight's new episode was stunning. There was one line in a song during the episode that went "pretentious laughes at Bunuel retrospective." Which is funny, even though his films are far from pretentious. I love when they mention stuff like that, like nobody probably even got that joke.

Yes, it was fucking fantastic. I was laughing my ass off at that Lord of the Rings parody with the boxes, when the one delivery guy came flying on that huge dragon I almost pissed my pants. I already know they will be laughing on the commentary about making a show about two of the "least" popular characters on the show, Selma (Patty) and Grandpa. I loved it anyways. Oh yeah, I loved when Grandpa goes "would you like a lemon candy" and she was like "no thanks I brought my own" and they suck 'em so loud. haha.

I almost died laughing watching a rerun last night. It was the one where lisa gets a restrainer order against bart. They were on a field trip to Springfield Glacier, and its too icey for auto to drive, so the chain up the kids and have them pull it up the Mountain.
OK, so the German? exchange student says "I feel like im in Fitzcarraldo", and Nelson punches him and says "Ha ha! That movie is flawed".
Thought i'd share. Fucking brilliant.

I used to be a big Simpsons fan, but I have been watching more episodes of late, and I am getting tired the way the series has been going. I don't really know from which season the shows I watched recently were, but I am beginning to see a pattern in the way the episodes are constructed, and that annoys me. The pattern is as follows (please correct me if my impression is wrong):

An introduction, usually funny, but which really serves as the pretext for---

A ten minute segment, or prolonged introduction, which leads to ---

A final ten minutes, in which all that happened in the previous half is never mentioned, not even referred to.

In other words, the shows have become as pointless as a set of Chinese boxes, and whoever is writing the episodes seems to be running out of ideas good enough to be extended into a full episode, and out of pride nobody wants to turn the show into episodes with two distinct stories.

I know how popular The Simpsons are among some of you, but I am really tired; I guess that's to be expected of a show in which Bart would be a college grad (or most likely not, but someone that age) had he grown up from season to season.

I caught that paparrazi episode and thought it was funny. I stopped watching the show for a long time, but recently have been getting back into the grove since the '04 - '06 seasons are on rotation in syndication land up here. Some pretty good ones, some definite "meh"'s. FG wasn't at its best, still good.
Very uncool not playing "The Winner" FOX! WTF!

7-Elevens to be Converted to Kwik-E-Marts

A deal is pending between the world's largest gas station company and Fox to temporarily convert 11 7-Elevens across the United States into Kwik-E-Marts to promote the upcoming Simpsons Movie. I've taken the liberty of creating an image of what this might look like if the event goes through, and let me be the first to say this is completely awesome.

You'll also be able to buy items inspired by the show, like KrustyO's cereal, Buzz Cola, and iced Squishees. As soon as we find out exactly if, when, and where this happens, we'll be sure and let you know.

Yeah, what the fuck was up with NO WINNER? I was looking forward to it too. And it was so gay there was no episode this week, plus The Simpsons episode was an old one.
