an excellent show thats off the air in which one guy and two robots make fun of really bad movies.

This was one of my favorite shows, it blended something I already loved, bad horror movies, with something I already did, made fun of them. It was like watching bad movies with friends, so much fun. The movie was also really good, but not as good as the show. I am getting volume one DVD tomorrow for Christmas so I will come back to the thread. I recommend picking it up since it is OOP but still available some places.

Watched one episode from volume one, skydivers, and they were able to mention eraserhead, scenes from a marriage, and john waters all in the same show. God I love the show. I almost pissed myself when two characters came on the screen and were fighting and one goes "I want the guy in the black to win" and the other goes "I actually don't know who I want to win, I care so much about both of these characters."

Finished Volume One and it was very good. Here are some thoughts:

The Skydivers 10/10

Probably my favorite episode on the disc, but also probably the least entertaining film on the disc. Each joke hits perfectly. And like I said above they have tons of references to different films that make it even more enjoyable.



The Creeping Terror 8.5/10

A hilarious film, and good episode. It seemed like they made the film, realized all the dialogue sucked ass, then got someone off the street to narrate over all the dialogue what was happening. It was great. Most of the jokes hit, but overall it wasn't as hilarious as it could have been.



Bloodlust 8/10

It was a horrible film but good episode; some great jokes.



Catalina Caper - 9/10

The change of hosts between the episodes was jarring at first but once I got used to it, it was hilarious. I couldn't believe Little Richard was in this shit. Hilarious movie and fantastic episode. When they started singing with the film it was fucking hysterical.



A fantastic set, although it could use more features. All there is are three trailers. But the uncut versions of the films definitely make up for it, that is awesome they did that. Also the packaging is really nice.

Overall it was a fantastic set that I really recommend; it is OOP so get it fast.

How dare you to call Bloodlust a horrible film!? It's much better than the reputation wants it to be, and I had much fun seeing it. And I don't mean this in "so-bad-it's-good"; I seriously think there's many well-made aspects in it.

Oh, then I really need to re-watch it. I didn't really pay attention too much, I put it on as a background movie and did other things. It looked bad, but if you actually liked it I will definitely watch it again with no distractions.

I bought season one recently and I mainly agree with you critereonmaster except that Bloodlust is a good film. But i really did love mst3k though.

Just go down, it says it is OOP. I read about it a while ago but lost the link. It said that they lost the rights to a film included in the set and had to stop selling it, but all the copies that were already printed before a certain date will still be sold, so you can still find it a lot of places, but once those are sold there will not be any more made.
