I think The Godfather trilogy is his masterpiece. But let`s not forget Apocalypse now! Another masterpiece. Other than that, I`ve seen The Conversation. It didn`t give me as much as I`d hoped for, but still a nice film. Need to see it again.

No. The conversation I found very disappointing. Hackman is good but its all a little boring and sorta pointless.

No, it's his fourth best. 1. The Godfather II 2. Apocalypse Now 3. The Godfather 4. The Converstation.
MY OPINION IS FACT!!

No, it is not. In fact your opinion is always false. Flip your list, and then you have his four best.

You don't like Paul Thomas Anderson. Your opinion is immediately invalidated.

I never said I didn't like him. I just said he is not my favorite. He makes good movies. They are just not my favorite.

Ugh, you said that Magnolia was not WAY better than Crash.

You at least can see Boogie Nights for the masterpiece that it is, right?

Well, I was assuming you'd think that. I like Magnolia more, but they're close... I'm starting an Anderson thread...

Bringing it back to Coppola, Beef you really think Godfather is better than two? This may bring up a huge arguement if it does then so be it.

Yes, I think one is better than two. Soely for the prescence of Brando. He is amazing, one of the best performances ever. 2 is still a great film. But it truly misses the prescene of Brando. Plus, the end of one is one of the best ends ever.

I see, but I think that DeNiro shoots the second one above the first. But that is just me. They are both amazing. I wish Brando would have done the role he was suppose to do in the second film.

Rushmore is great and Magnolia is far far miles better than crash. Crash was very average and preachy.

Have you seen The Outsiders? No, I haven`t. And I, too, like the first Godfather sligthly better. Or maybe not better, but it is my personal favorite of the two, at least.

The Outsiders & Rumblefish are great. His best work IMO is Apocalypse Now, Godafther 1 & 2 & The Conversation.

About what was said before. I also like The Godfather better than Part II, but not by much. They are a virtual tie. I despise Part III.

Part III is underrated. It's not great, but it's not the steaming pile that many make it out to be.
