I actually kinda like it, but it isn't the best picture he could of used. ;D I really love this show, but sadly, I only saw misc. episodes from really early seasons, then like midway through the series is when I started watching regularly, so I am going to have to go back through all of the seasons.

I've been watching through season one, and it is amazing. The show is so fucking creepy. Very atmospheric. Not to mention the dynamic between Mulder and Scully is absolutely fantastic.

i just finished disc one of the season one dvd, and wow. i must have started watching during like season 3 or 4 'cause i don't remember this at all, but i am loving it. that pilot episode was absolutely stunning, then that second episode, i think it was called "deep throat" w/seth green in it, was so amazing, but that ending made me wish it would go on forever.

hey, ptahole, or whoever, when did the show start becoming a continuing story, i remember watching some episodes that were their own entity, but i also remember watching a huge long continuing story?

i can't wait to watch the rest of these.

The show always had two types of episodes. "Mythology" episodes and "Monster-of-the-week" episodes. Mythology episodes dealt with the overall conspiracy storyline (with the aliens and Deep Throat, Cigarette Smoking Man, etc.). Monster-of-the-week episodes dealt with individual X-File cases. (ghosts, telekinesis, etc.) This is through the whole show. Of what you've watched, "Pilot," "Deep Throat," and "Conduit" are Mythology episodes. "Squeeze" was a MOTW. (Although that story is followed up later in the season.)

Since the last time I posted here, I watched Season 2, and it crushes season 1 under its feet. It has some of the greatest episodes of television ever produced. Best episodes- Little Green Men, Ascension, One Breath, Anasazi, etc. Worst Episode- Three

oh man, i can't freaking wait to see that! but i still need to finish the last disc of season one. wasn't there some news you were going to post about an upcoming movie or something?

Well, Duchovny said that the script is finished and he should be reading it soon. Both him and Gillian Anderson want to do it, so if it happens, I'd expect it sometime next year.

oh thank god. definitely keep telling me if any other information comes up. god, it better continue the series, and not be a monster of the week! any rumors on that?
