I watched 35 minutes of this and it feels like I have been watching for 2 hours. It is painfully boring and not even amusing in the slightest bit most of the time. It is going to be like pulling teeth trying to finish this. Please help me figure out why this film is supposed to be good!

I can't believe how much better it got. Andruini is right, the ending almost mad me cry. I don't think it was a perfect film, but never has a film picked up so much. Glad I finished it. I will post some more thoughts soon.

I'm glad you ended up liking it. I thought it was a perfect film, maybe the fact that you were sick had some influence or something.

Maybe, but that is a strong maybe since I just watched a film today (Murmur of the Heart) and I am still sick, and ended up loving the film. I think more that it took me some time to get into it, it took a while to actually grab my attention, but then when it did I loved it. That boxing scene was the only part I laughed at but not all comedies need to be super funny to be good, in fact most comedies I don't laugh at that much and they are still good. I am also glad I liked it.

Yea, that boxing scene is such a classic one and that ending is classic as well.
