Hmmm, Alien and Aliens are classics. Alien 3 is bad, Ressurection is worse, and Vs. Predator doesn't even deserve to be talked about.

Exactly. I think Aliens is the best one, though they are hard to compare since the first is horror and the second is action.

This has to be one of the most overrated film series ever. Alien is a good film but its far to boring at times. Aliens is just a bit silly and I dont see what the fuss is about. Then Alien 3 is just dreadful as is resurrection.

Alien is defently my favorite I can't count on my fingers how many times I watched it. I remember these were the movies all kids were aftaird of when I was a child. I had nightmares of the Xenomorph for ages after my first encounter with the first one - home alone 2 o'clock in at night 3-inches from the big television screen.  I don't think Alien or Aliens are overrated, but the next 3 films are so bad that it sinks the series. Effective horror! |

I think Alien is my favorite. Then comes Aliens, which I think is a great rollercoster of a movie. Alien3 is also good, but can`t compare to the two previous. Resurrection is bad, but it`s a very long time since I saw it, so I can`t say 100 % how I feel about it. AvP doesn`t even count. But it IS a piece of utter garbage.

alien is the best (10/10). aliens is great but i thought the queen was kinda silly. They should have used the "Space Jockey" in it somehow (9.5/10). Alien 3 is not nearly as good as the first two but not as bad as its reputation (6/10). alien ressurection sucked (3/10). alien versus predator sucked even more (1/10).
