THEATRICAL RELEASES FOR JUNE 9th

Since one movie decided it just had to open on Tuesday (we'll get to that in a minute.), I decided to do this on Wednsday (It's the exact middle...)

The Omen (6-6-06)- John Moore

My Opinion: First of all, let me tell you how stupid the studio is for releasing this movie on a Tuesday. Obviously, we all know why, but seriously, are they idiots? Not only are they remaking one of the best horror movies ever, they're also using really stupid, exploitive marketing. I refuse to ever see this pile.

Cars- John Lasseter

My Opinion: Hey, it's Pixar. Probably the only studio that has a perfect track record. Plus it's Lasseter (Toy Story 1 & 2, A Bug's Life)

A Prairie Home Companion- Robert Altman

My Opinion: Altman. Is there really a better reason to see this? It's got a really good cast (except Lohan), good premise. It sounds great. Good reviews so far, too.

I am definitely seeing Cars and Prarie Home Companion. Probably wont see the Omen till it hits the dollar theater or comes out on DVD.

DEF!! Cars and Companion! I will pay for Companion and sneak into Cars since Cars is going to smoke at the box office.
