It's crazy that Bale went and lost weight again for his role in this movie, like he did for the Machinist. It sounds like he didn't lose as much weight this time around, but still, impressive (if dangerous) none-the-less.

Im dying to catch a Herzog film in theaters, and theres not easier way to do so than if he releases a new film.
Well, I saw Grizzly Man on the big screen, but its not the same as a 'film' from Herzog. No news on this one from what I can tell, big enough names that you'd think it get a wide release.

Saw the trailer in front of Spider-Man 3 and this looked AMAZING. I clapped when Herzog's name came up on the screen. This looks very Deer Hunter-esque almost, not in style, but in story, it reminded me of the Russian roulette scene or something.

The radio spots are making it sound like a generic war movie. I think it will do very well, people will definitely see it, but not at all because some cool director was involved, but because vets and war buffs see any generic war movie, and that's a large demography.
