Title: World Trade Center Starring: Nicolas Cage Released: 12th December 2006 SRP: $29.99, $33.99 & $39.99 Further Details: Paramount Home Entertainment will be releasing World Trade Center, which stars Nicolas Cage, Maria Bello, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Michael Pena. This Oliver Stone directed drama will be available to own from the 12th December and will be available in five different editions: single disc full screen ($29.99), single disc widescreen ($29.99), 2-disc Commemorative Edition: DVD ($33.99), HD DVD ($39.99) and Blu-ray ($39.99). The contents of each disc are described below along with all cover artwork. The first disc, which is common to all editions includes: the feature film, a commentary by Oliver Stone, a commentary by real-life survivor Will Jimeno and real-life rescuers Scott Strauss, John Busching and Paddy McGee, and nine deleted/extended scenes (Extended Locker Room, Extended Roll Call, Concerned Business Woman, Fireman Johnny, Original Hole Two Through Allison Making Lunch, Judy Gets Word Jay Is OK, John's Ghost, Barbeque Flashback, and Paramedic Tends To John) - each with optional commentary by Stone. The DVD supports English Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0, as well as French Dolby Digital 5.1 with English and Spanish subtitles. For high definition versions, there will be English, French and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus and English, English SDH+, French and Spanish subtitles. Disc two of the Commemorative Editions includes a making-of featurette, which is split into three parts (Committing to the Story , Shooting in New York and Los Angeles, and Closing Wounds), a two-part Common Sacrifices featurette (Rescue and Recovery), Building Ground Zero, a Visual & Special Effects featurette, Oliver Stone's New York, Q&A with Oliver Stone, Theatrical Trailer, Five TV Spots and Photo Gallery.
