1. V for Vendetta (8.5/10) 2. Dave Chappelle's Block Party (8/10) 3. Inside Man (7.5/10) 4. United 93 (7.5/10) 5. Thank You For Smoking (7.5/10) 6. Superman Returns (7/10) 7. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (6.5/10) 8. Break-Up (5/10) 9. Click (5/10) 10. The Omen (3/10)
The review of The Omen that Roger Ebert did (giving it i believe 3 stars out of 4) is what finally convinced me of his stupidity.

Yep (about The Maltese Falcon avatar), and the remake is much better than the original imo, and can be considered an artsy horror film, when looked into deeper.

Anyone seen the new The Hills Have Eyes? Highly suggested. Yes! It was a great movie. I have not made a real effort to see the original because I hear it isn't that good (I will see it though). Very solid remake.

I LOVE the original. So gritty, so awesome. The ending says a lot and no remake can capture the feeling of the end. It is a very fun film, made even better by the ending. But this is coming from a person who loves me some old horror!

Miami Vice--- 9/10 stars (it'll go somewhere in my top 100 movies) Clerks 2--- 8/10
so that makes my order:
1. Miami Vice 2. V for Vendetta 3. Clerks 2 4. Dave Chappelle's Block Party 5. Inside Man 6. United 93 7. Thank You For Smoking 8. Superman Returns 9. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest 10. The Break-Up 11. Click 12. The Omen
This year is completely taking me by surprise how consistent the quality of movies continue to be. Michael Mann's direction in Miami Vice is amazing once again... He sort of reminds me of a modern day Melville in how tight his direction is. He only shows you what you absolutely must see. You all absolutely must see this movie, that's for sure.

Instead, I'll rate them based off of how I normally rate movies.
Crank 7/10 The Illusionist 9/10 Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest 9/10 Snakes on a Plane 8/10 The Wicker Man 5/10 X-Men: The Last Stand 9/10 You, Me and Dupree 4/10
IMDB says V For Vedetta was made in 2005, therefore I will not include it in the list, but rather as an after thought: 9/10.
