Wilson & Anderson Reunite for Darjeeling
Source: Production Weekly August 2, 2006
Production Weekly reports that Owen Wilson will reunite with his long-time friend Wes Anderson on the director's next project, The Darjeeling Limited.
In the script, by Anderson, Roman Coppola and Jason Schwartzman, Wilson will play one of three brothers who journey through India.
The project is eyeing a December production start. Wilson and Anderson previously worked together on Bottle Rocket, Rushmore (with Schwartzman), The Royal Tenenbaums and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.

It looks like all his other films took a shit on this one van.
It's probably way too early to judge, but it looks so "look how quirky i am". I like Wes Anderson alot, but that picture bugs me.

so then i'm the only one who thinks it looks like nothing more than coppola's nephew (aka the irritating kid from the even more irritating Slackers), Brody and a crippled Owen Wilson trying to out-clever each other on a dilapidated train.

so then i'm the only one who thinks it looks like nothing more than coppola's nephew (aka the irritating kid from the even more irritating Slackers), Brody and a crippled Owen Wilson trying to out-clever each other on a dilapidated train. well, actually coppola's nephew, is the kid from rushmore, which makes me even more excited about this movie, since rushmore is wes's best film. i really do think you would enjoy that film, if only for murray. but yeah, you definitely are the only one, i love movies like these. i have so much fun watching them, and i love seeing what wes does. it is just a style of filmmaking that really connected with me, although, many people who try to do it fail to capture what i truly love about wes, which i don't even know what that thing is. so, you really don't think this movie looks good at all? |
