I got to see a test screening of Perfume back in May and so far it is the best new film I've seen this year.
Really looking forward to it's US release: December 27th (limited) 29th (wide)

Heaven, The Princess and the Warrior and Wintersleepers are very different in terms of pacing and the storyline.
Tykwer still deals a lot with fate and chance and how things are intertwined, but stylisticaly all of his other films are much less kinetic and much more medatative than Lola.
