Sorry I didn't get these up last week. I had a lot of stuff going on over Thanksgiving weekend, so I didn't have a whole lot of time. WIDE RELEASESThe Nativity Story (Catherine Hardwicke) IMDb Description: Mary and Joseph's love, faith, and beliefs are tested by her miraculous pregnancy, and the birth of their son. My Opinion: It's been done to death, I won't be seeing it unless it's on TV sometime. 10 Items or Less (Brad Silberling) IMDb Description: In Carson, California to research a potential role, a fading actor (Freeman) meets a fastidious grocery store clerk (Vega). A wrinkle in his plan causes him to rely on her for a ride back to Brentwood, where their tentative bond slowly begins to resemble a new friendship. My Opinion: Looks okay, but I will probably forget it by the time it's on DVD. Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj (Mort Nathan) IMDb Description: Taj Mahal Badalandabad (Penn) leaves Coolidge College behind for the halls of Camford University, where he looks to continue his education, and teach an uptight student how to make the most out of his academic career. My Opinion: This makes me sick. The first film is TERRIBLE! Turistas (John Stockwell) IMDb Description: Stranded in a Brazilian beach town, a group of backpackers are first trapped by a military group and used to carry out their mysterious agenda. My Opinion: A Hostel ripoff, just what I need. RECCOMENDATIONSTheatrical Films: The Fountain (Darren Aronofsky) On DVD: Clerks II (Kevin Smith) Overall, terrible week, so either see an older film (The Fountain, For Your Consideration, etc.) or stay at home and see Clerks II or an older film.

Ten Items Or Less looks like it could be a good movie, though. Might not compare to Clerks II or The Fountain, but it looks much better than Turistas.
