Sorry I'm a little late with these. WIDE RELEASESThe Holiday (Nancy Meyers) IMDb Description: An American woman (Diaz) with man problems jaunts over to England and crosses paths with a British villager (Winslet) who has similar troubles. My Opinion: Doesn't look like the worst thing ever, but I will not be seeing it. Apocalypto (Mel Gibson) IMDb Description: As the Maya kingdom faces its decline, the rulers insist the key to prosperity is to build more temples and offer human sacrifices. Jaguar Paw (Rudy Youngblood), a young man chosen for sacrifice, flees the kingdom to avoid his fate. My Opinion: I'll probably see it eventually, but I'm not rushing out to see it. Blood Diamond (Edward Zwick) IMDb Description: In Sierra Leone, the fates of a mercenary (DiCaprio), a fisherman (Hounsou), and an American journalist (Connelly) are entwined as the trio hunts for a priceless diamond. My Opinion: I like Edward Zwick. I'll probably check it out on DVD. Unaccompanied Minors (Paul Feig) IMDb Description: A group of kids create their own makeshift holiday while snowed in at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. My Opinion: Looks like a contender for the second worst movie of the year. LIMITED RELEASESOff the Black (James Ponsoldt) IMDb Description: A disillusioned alcoholic (Nolte) asks his new friend (Morgan) to pose as his son at his 40th high school reunion. My Opinion: Doesn't look special. PICKS OF THE WEEKTheatrical FilmsNOTHING I HAVEN'T SUGGESTED BEFOREDVD ReleasesMiami Vice (Michael Mann)

Apocalypto has the perfect advertising campaign. It looks completely awful, but so little is known about it that I can't help but be a little curious.
