I'm very much looking forward to grindhouse. The trailer looks amazing! The woman with a gun leg and the man with a coat full of knives really gets me psyched! + it will likely be my first '18' rated movie i see in a theatre.

Into the Wild, read the book by Jon Krakauer. Found it to be very compelling. Apparently the film is to be directed by Sean Penn.
I just read that Stardust by Neil Gaiman is currently in post-production, scheduled for July.

Some movies that look interesting to me, although I may not see them all in theaters, with my predicted ratings range, excluding ones that probably won't be great and I'm probably missing a bunch: Smokin' Aces (8), Rogue (5-9 or 8), Fahrenheit 451 (8? or 9?), Hannibal Rising (9?), Ghost Rider (6), the Number 23 (7), Zodiac (8-9), 300 (8-9), Stardust (8-9), TMNT (7-8), Grind House (9), Spider-Man 3 (8 or 9?), Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (8), the Transformers (5-8), Rob Zombie's Halloween (?!), American Gangster (7-8) and Beowulf (6-8?). add-ons: Cassandra's Dream (8-9), Inland Empire (8), Youth Without Youth (8-9) and Kim Ki-duk's Life (8). In other words, looks like there could be a bunch of movies worth checking out in the theaters this year. There's a Saw 4.

Quite a few, but I also listed some that aren't sequels... yet. edit: And that list was really just based on what I read on Wikipedia. I'm sure there are other non-theater releases that will be pretty good as well.

Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007) - I've read that this is a film noir! David Lynch's Inland Empire (2007) - Lynch has been working a lot on this! 5 years wasn't it? Francis For Coppola's Youth Without Youth (2007) - Coppola's finally back on track. Bruno Ganz! Peter Greenaway's Nightwatching (2007) - Might be a spectacular film! Edgar Wright's Hot Fuzz (2007) - Shaun of the dead was very funny! Hope it'll be just as good! Nicolas Roeg's Puffball (2007) - Roeg's comeback film! * These are at the top.

Coppola with a new film? You just made my day. LMAO! but in any case, it'll be interesting to see if the elder Coppola can dig himself out of this moviemaking rut he's put himself in the past decade or so.

Live Free or Die Hard looks like a big huge pile of shit if you ask me. It is like all these action trilogies are getting new sequels these days.

I cannot wait for Man From London either, but we probably won't get it here till 2008 at the earliest. It sounds like an awesome film, and that tiny still, with it's beautiful black and white, that I posted, has gotten me even more excited.

Saw Black Snake Moan and Hot Fuzz already. Black Snake Moan is pretty good (but subordinate to Hustle & Flow) and the acting is great (Christina Ricci was really working here and Justin Timberlake was convincing... Uncle Sam was great with his gospel verses). Hot Fuzz = BRILLIANT
Can't wait for... Haneke's Funny Games remake with Niomi Watts! OMFG!
