Just got back from the Dawn of the Dead remake over the weekend, and it made me apprecaite Romero's work all the more. So, even if this ends up feeling like shitty 00s American horror, it will have the social commentary and the brain (BRAAINSS!!!) to make that worthwhile. Easily. (Also made me doubtful of 300, even if it's made it on the IMDB Top 250 even before it hit theaters, but that's for another thread.)
edit: Overall, this movie gives me a good reason to get through Day of the Dead and Land of the Dead in a short period of time. Well, a better reason than just because. ;D
