I will definitely be seeing this. The most interesting segment (and probably the one that is going to be the best) is the one by Takeshi Kitano. Not my favorite director of all time by any stretch, but he always has interesting ideas, no matter what he does.

Catchy title. Really rolls off the tongue... Most should be worth a look. I know about a third of the directors on this list, so until you really know every single one and are able to compare them, you can't really ask which one will make the best segment, because who knows, that Angelopoulos guy might impress the hell out of you. I doubt this will be widely released though. Who would watch it besides movie buffs? What American kid, after having seen Blade of Glory would be like "k, who wants to see To Each His Cinema? It has segments by Kiarostami, Zhang-" " Are We Done Yet?"

Well, since it is just a collection of shorts, the budget for each would be low. It's obviously not meant to be a commercial film. Theodoros Angelopoulos is a director that really intrigues me.

I believe the film will probably be known in its original language, as Chacun son cinéma, but I don't know, so I put the English title. There are still a few I haven't heard of, yet, and then there are some others I really want to check out. I think, if anything, this film will turn us on to some new directors. Angelopoulos (sp?) is a director I have heard many times, and have wanted to check out. I think he did the film, Traveling Players (?), which I have heard mentioned as being a really great film, as well as others. Yeah, we will probably have to catch this at an independent showing, or at a festival or something. It is stupid someone wouldn't want to see this, but I know everyone around here wouldn't, sadly enough. If they released it here I would say 100 people all together would go (if that). Well, since it is just a collection of shorts, the budget for each would be low. It's obviously not meant to be a commercial film. Theodoros Angelopoulos is a director that really intrigues me. Same here, as I said above. I need to check into some of his stuff.
