Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (Tim Story)

IMDb Description: The Fantastic Four face two severe threats: the arrival of the enigmatic Silver Surfer, who has come to Earth with a planetary destruction in mind, and the shocking return of their main nemesis.
My Opinion: The first one was complete crap, I hated it so much, and this one looks just as bad, if not worse. I will not go and see this, probably no matter what.

Nancy Drew (Andrew Fleming)

IMDB Description: While accompanying her father on a trip to Los Angeles, teen detective Nancy Drew (Roberts) begins to put clues together that could unravel the mystery behind a movie star's death.
My Opinion: Sounds like this is for girl's or something? which normally i wouldn't care about, but this doesn't look like my cup of tea.

DOA: Dead or Alive (Corey Yuen)

IMDB Description: A group of uniquely trained women are summoned to an island for a fighting tournament; though they start of as competitors, they soon band together against a deadly force.
My Opinion: Wow, this movie looks terrible! just read that plot, then look at the cast. it has that porn actress in it, that chick from sin city, etc. it sounds like this either could be cheesy goodness or complete crap. haha.

LIMITED RELEASES

Eagle vs Shark [LA/NY] (Taika Cohen)

IMDb Description: A story of two ill-dressed misfits, their blind love, and one man's quest for revenge.
My Opinion: "New Zealand's Napolean Dynamite", no thanks. looks like it tries way to hard to be cute.

Fido [LA/NY] (Andrew Currie )

IMDb Description: Timmy Robinson (Ray) scrambles to keep his best friend, a zombie he named Fido (Connolly), part of the family after the big guy eats the Robinson's next-door neighbor.
My Opinion: Hmm, I'll wait to hear something on this, but it could be good. Although, I don't think any "zombedy" (i just came up with that) could be as good as shaun of the dead. It still sounds like it could be good. anyone know anything about this film?

Fido looked really good for a few months... until I saw the trailer a few weeks ago. Complete buzz kill.

I would still check it out if it were easy, but I'm definitely not going out of my way to see it. I doubt it will be any good. Looked so fucking average. The only difference between this movie (per what I know) and one of your average dog movies is that there's a zombie in it, rather than a cute widdle dog.

i just watched the trailer (is that the one you watched?), since you recommended it . and i thought it looks quite good actually, and it could be funny. i think that is what they were going for, making zombies pets, like dogs, also, i thought the style of the film looked good, and it was well shot, at least better shot than most zombie films. not to mention they played the ramones in the trailer (!). i might actually try and track it down. what made it seem average to you, it looked like a fun film? and a funny take on a zombie film mixing it with, what looked like, a very 50's style.
