sorry these are late, but still comment them.
WIDE RELEASES
1408 (Mikael Håfström)
IMDb Description: During his latest assignment, Robert Enslin (Cusack), a best-selling author who specializes in debunking paranormal events, encounters genuine terror after he checks into the Dolphin Hotel's legendary room 1408.
My Opinion: heard so much mixed stuff about this, but i will still check it out someday. i can't believe this actually might be good, it looked so crappy.
Evan Almighty (Tom Shadyac)
IMDB Description: God (Freeman) tasks Congressman Evan Baxter (Carrell) with building an ark in anticipation of a great flood.
My Opinion: complete crap, the trailer has "jokes" in it that are suppose to be funny, but they make me want to kill someone how bad they are. there should never have been a sequel.
A Mighty Heart (Michael Winterbottom)
IMDB Description: Mariane Pearl (Jolie) leads the frantic effort to locate her journalist husband, Daniel (Futterman), after he's abducted while on assignment in Karachi, Pakistan.
My Opinion: i normally would never want to see this, but all the rave reviews it is getting, i am kinda interested in it, especially seeing jolie's performance, which i hear it great. anyone see[n][ing] this?
LIMITED RELEASES
You Kill Me [limited] (John Dahl)
IMDb Description: While drying out on the west coast, an alcoholic hit man (Kingsley) befriends a tart-tounged woman (Leoni) who might just come in handy when it's time for him to return to Buffalo and settle some old scores.
My Opinion: eh, don't know much about this, and the plot doesn't sound too great. anyone know about this?
Black Sheep [LA/NY] (John King)
IMDb Description: A genetic engineering experiment at a family farm goes horribly wrong, turning hundreds of sheep into vengeful killers.
My Opinion: sounds stupid, but it could be so bad it is good. anyone know anything about this, because i really don't know. i wouldn't mind seeing something like this.
Broken English [LA/NY] (Zoe R. Cassavetes)
IMDb Description: Tired of the singles scene, thirty-something Manhattanite Nora Wilder (Posey) impulsively flies to Paris to see if the initial connection she made with Julien (Poupaud) might be more than just another failed romance.
My Opinion: holy christ, yes! cassavetes daughter, her mom, gena rowlands, in a film that will hopefully be fantastic. i can't wait to see it! heard great stuff about it already. anyone else think this might be good, or know anything about it?
