I agree on Fight Club as well. I think it's a terrific film that most of it's so-called 'fans' don't even understand. There would be no such thing as Fight Club 'merchandise' outside of theatrical posters if they did understand what the movie was saying.

Fight Club has some perfect moments but theirs a good deal of waste in the film as well. Unnecessary elements which drag it down. Like all the project mayhem stuff and most scenes with helena Bonham Carter, less of these would make a better film I think.

Yeah, so I just realized how much of an overhaul my top 20's taken since my movie acquisitions have increased. With that, I give you folks a comparison of the first list I submitted here and the current one:
May 21: 1) Lawrence of Arabia 2) The Return of the King 3) The Empire Strikes Back 4) Once Upon a Time in the West 5) Star Wars 6) The Godfather 7) The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly 8) The Fellowship of the Ring 9) Once Upon a Time in America 10) Seven Samurai 11) Citizen Kane 12) Chinatown 13) The Godfather: Part II 14) Oldboy 15) Dr. Strangelove 16) Goodfellas 17) Ran 18) Blade Runner 19) 2001: A Space Odyssey 20) Alien
September 11: 1) Seven Samurai 2) Once Upon a Time in the West 3) Chinatown 4) Dr. Strangelove 5) Lawrence of Arabia 6) Ikiru 7) Ran 8) Apocalypse Now 9) Once Upon a Time in America 10) The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly 11) The Godfather: Part II 12) Mulholland Dr. 13) Citizen Kane 14) The Godfather 15) Blade Runner 16) Sunset Boulevard 17) Raging Bull 18) Star Wars 19) 2001: A Space Odyssey 20) Taxi Driver
Yeah, so notice how Lord of the Rings is pretty much a non-factor now and how I replaced one Scorcese with two others...wow, this is fun.
