The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, as many else has said, is one of my favorite endings too. Another one is Chinatown. A perfect ending to an already perfect movie. I would also like to mention Mean Streets. Some others are: Man Bites Dog, The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover, and Aguirre, Der Zorn Gottes.

I found the ending of Oldboy very strange: disturbing, and at the same time so peaceful.

Man who Fell to Earth's is great. It has a single still frame. But it is very odd and just left me feeling very like "What did I just watch?" which was good. It was a good film not great, but for some reason I liked the ending alot.
Also the ending to Wrath of Kahn is fan-fucking-tastic.

There are many IMO but most recently I'd have to sayUnited 93 has a great ending. It ends at the absolute perfect time and is a spectacular ending. Definetly one of the best.

Pulp Fiction has one of the most satisfying non-twist endings ever imo. Perfect end to a perfect film. Just makes me want to cry.

there are tons of excellent endings out there, but one especially cool one that stands out to me is A Boy and his Dog. it left me yelling praise to them! oh, and Chinatown.
