Passion of Joan of Arc is easily one of the best films ever made. Words can't even describe it. Other great ones on there too. I love Ugetsu.

I have seen both Wages of Fear and Battle of Algiers and they are FANTASTIC. One that hasn't been said that I like is Hard Boiled.

Yeah hard boiled is all about the gunplay and ass kicking. The killer is a little less gun action and a little more story and melodrama. I think I prefer hardboiled overall as it is far better choreographed and paced. Thoughthe killer is still fantastic.

*Andrei Rublyov (1969) *C'era una volta il West (1968) *The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) *Barry Lyndon (1975) *La Double vie de Véronique (1991)
