It should read "Which movie would you be most likely to enjoy" ;D
I think I'm going to go with lousy beginning, great middle, average ending. I can cope with a crappy beginning if there's a high-quality middle. As long as the ending is decent, I should feel OK with the overall movie. The one I'd least be able to handle is probably great beginning, lousy middle, average ending (or maybe average middle, lousy ending).

I can take a lousy middle of a movie as long as it has a so-so beginning and a stunning ending.

I can't vote right now, but I could sympathize with this: I can take a lousy middle of a movie as long as it has a so-so beginning and a stunning ending. Overall, I don't want anything to do with bad endings; especially for action/superhero movies. I don't mind decent or alright endings, because not every movie is about its ending but instead about the experience(s) you feel during the movie, but I don't care for most generic and/or bad endings. Ideally, I should want to not promote, encourage or even care about movies that have a sagging beginning, middle or end. If you fuck up that badly to where I actually notice shit's not going well, then your ass is grass, and I'm the mower. I have been known to offer some sympathy to movies that have weaknesses here and there. I know, I know, I should answer the goddamn question already, and not be a movie snob without being an official snob because I refuse to use the word film unless the context is appropriate, but I won't, and you'll just have to live with it. The fast forward... it doesn't nothing!

Okay, so you and beed would rather have 30 seconds of greatness and 2 hours of mediocre? Most movies don't even need a good ending; in fact, sometimes they don't even need an ending. I am like ie, it will take me a little bit before I can come up with an answer, this is a hard question.

...yeah.
I think sometimes not having an ending is a great way to end a film anyway, so I don't know anymore. Although I do stick to my vote: endings are the most important parts.

I voted! I went with terrible beginning, average middle, fantastic ending, only because I think that gradually getting better and better as a film goes along is probably the best way to watch a film. Does anyone agree? If a film started great, then went downhill, I would be mad, but if it kept getting better and better, it would make the film seem just that more great.

True, but then you remember the terrible beginning and then shit just goes downhill from there.

True, but then you remember the terrible beginning and then shit just goes downhill from there. Yeah, you are right, but if the ending is great enough, you might forget the beginning, and my thought was that the beginning wouldn't be super long, so you wouldn't have to suffer too much. The question is really hard, it was the best one I could come up with, I think. I just don't think I can have a terrible middle, that is my main problem, since that is the bulk of the film.
