No, you have not seen a single film that I am talking about when you showed me Star Wars. Are you deaf? You likED Star Wars a lot when you first showed them to me. But you have changed since then. You do not act the way you do toward every film. I don't think you are being too facetious. I just saw it? I saw the films three years ago. And this matters how? I don't recall saying I know something about Star Wars. But I guess I did according to you. So can you quote me saying that. I know what you like. You like good movies and music (imo). You just pretend not to like Star Wars as much as you do (or like it less). As Tim already said. Yes, I was used to think Star Wars is terrible. I new nothing about film then. I was just like every idiot. That is exactly what dumb people say about Star Wars. The only problem with not having them in your top 100 is that; you had Star Wars in your top 20 and it dropped from your top 20 to above 100. That is a big drop. Thank you for admitting that you are a film snob. It has nothing to do with you liking Star Wars. "Please, don’t embarrass yourself anymore blackmoses. EDIT: Read what you say out loud next time you write it, took me a long time to read." How am I embarrassing myself? Is their a reason you are even saying this? You say pointless things all the time when we are fighting. What do you not understand what I am saying? If you can talk to the people on Flixster, then you can talk to me fine. Again don't say pointless things that don't need to be said. You do not do it with all films, like I said before. I can have a two minute long conversation about Star Wars. I know what you like and don't like. You like Star Wars you just like it less on purpose. I don't like to be told I am trying to be cool. But does that stop you? I think not. Arguing with you is like arguing with an inanimate carbon rod. You are arguing for no reason, do you think I like the films or not? I don't care whether you do or not, all I care is that you admit to me being the only reason you like the films. I act that way towards a lot of films, and most of the time they involve ptahole getting mad or other things (Alien, T2, Star Wars, etc.). It matters because you are trying to tell me I don’t like films I literally have seen over 100 times. You said “You a disgrace to Star Wars” implying that you in some way know that I am a disgrace. Yes, and as I have already said, yes, I do say Star Wars sucks a lot, that doesn’t mean I don’t like it. I am saying publicly how much I like it, and normally only say to you and ptahole that I dislike it, just to piss ptahole off. It isn’t that big of a drop since I have seen well over 100 better films since then. And I would like to know how that is pointless seeing as how I couldn’t read what you said, so I said make it more legible. This time was better but you still misspelled a bunch of stuff. And yes, you embarrass yourself by arguing with me. I tell you what you are doing, you tell me things only because you have started arguing like me for some reason, always asking questions and telling me what I am doing, even though you couldn’t be more off. Talk about Star Wars with ptahole sometime for a lengthy amount of time. I still don’t understand what and why you are arguing with me, there seems to be no point. You think I like Star Wars a slight bit less than I actually like it, I don’t even care enough to argue that. I am arguing with you because you say Star Wars is bad all the time. You say stuff like "Star Wars isn't even that good" and "I wouldn't even like them if I haven’t seen them when I was older". I can't stand you saying that whether you are serious or not. It just makes me mad when you say stupid stuff like that. I think that you like the films but you just act like you don't like them that much and the ONLY reason you like them is because you "grew up with them". I said "You ARE a disgrace to Star Wars". Stop trying to act like I can type or talk. I said that you are because true fans of Star Wars don't say that Star Wars is terrible and I only like them because I grew up on them. You say Star Wars sucks but you like it? That makes no sense. You are doing this to make Tim mad, you say. Alright, but you say it constantly. I think you have said it enough. What was illegible about what I said? I want you to tell me EVERY SINGLE thing that is wrong and all the misspellings and how it affects you knowing what I am trying to say to you.

Sorry if I sound like a jerk, but this discussion is so meaningless and repeating, I dont really know why I`ve read through this. Yeah, tell me about it. I don't even understand why we are arguing anymore. Yes, I was used to think Star Wars is terrible. I new nothing about film then. (That sentence makes no sense and "new" should be "knew" both have completely different meanings.)The only problem with not having them in your top 100 is that ; you had Star Wars in your top 20 and it dropped from your top 20 to above 100. That is a big drop. (unknown use of the semi-colon)Is their a reason you are even saying this? What do you not understand what I am saying? If you can talk to the people on Flixster, then you can talk to me fine. Again don't say pointless things that don't need to be said. (Your biggest problem is you use words that are said the same but have COMPLETELY different meanings. "There" vs. "their" I could have sworn me and ptahole showed you the difference.) I started going through it fixing all the grammactical errors, but it would take too long, there are like a thousand. I just took some easy things out of what you said so you can see. I see no point in responding to anything you just said, maybe I will when I read it. For now I just am responding to the last thing you said.

Respond to what I said soon.
But did you miss the part where I said also tell me how it affects you knowing what I am trying to say to you?

I saw that and I said it makes it harder to read when there are so many mistakes, so I have to keep reading back through it. And sometimes I think you mean something else when you misuse the word. There is really nothing worth responding to. "You say Star Wars sucks but you like it? That makes no sense." It is called sarcasm when I say things I don't actually mean. And I never said I wouldn't like the films if I saw them now, I say I would like them less. And growing up with the films for 16 years is only one of the many reasons why I like the films. I still don't see what you are trying to prove by this arguing, you don't think I like Star Wars? That is the most stupid thing you have said in the past couple of minutes. Don't forget to have that conversation about Star Wars sometime.

Sorry if I sound like a jerk, but this discussion is so meaningless and repeating, I dont really know why I`ve read through this. There was no mention of me , or less egotistically, nothing to reply on based off of my post, so I just kind of skipped through it, myself.

Well, I understand your thoughts on Star Wars. Very enjoyable film. But you haven't seen Empire Strikes Back!? That's a far better film; one of my favorite "adventure/sci-fi"-films. The original is pretty "light" in comparison.

Oh, I've seen all of the Star Wars movies except the third one a while ago.
Rewatched Empire Strikes Back tonight. 8/10
I've been having a bit of a shuffle with criterionmaster, but I'll quote my friend because I think his opinions are spot on to what I think: "I think ANH is the best of the OT. Empire is cool, but it's a sequel, and is kind of incomplete on its own." To conclude in my words, ESB can't go out to play without its bigger brother holding its hand.
I have other thoughts, but I don't really care to post them right now. I don't really care to argue about ESB, either.

You know what I said already which explains why the film isn't suppose to be on its own. And how I don't really see that as a flaw at all. So I will let someone else go.

Why would anyone watch the a middle chapter by itself if they haven't already seen the first one? Empire shouldn't have to stand on its own, because it already has a brilliant movie to set up its characters and situations. Empire, while don't know if I'd say it's better than ANH, it is most certainly just as good. If you've seen ANH, then ESB is one of the best films of all time.

If you say that Empire not standing entrely alone in the Star Wars universe is a weakness, then... Well, it's a terrible argument, in my view. Don't know what more to say. I just think Empire beats all the others to the extent that it's no more fun to see the boxing match. I admit that the first is a great film, though, but Empire has so much in it, and in addition, maybe the main reason why I like it more than the first, it's far more well-paced and nicely photographed (Oh, the direcor weren't Lucas. That's the explanation I guess).

Lucas also directed two of my favorite "looking" movies of all time, THX 1138 and American Graffitti.

I haven't seen American Grafitti, but I admit THX 1138 has nice photography/cinematography.
