Romero obviously. Cronenberg is a better overally director. But his films are not really horror to me.

Romero. Period. He is better than Cronenberg all around, too.

I voted for Romero but Craven was pretty close.

I vote Romero. Havne`t seen to much from any of these really, but I hate The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, don`t like what I`ve seen from Craven, and find Cronenberg overrated, though good. Need to see more of him. When it comes to Romero, I have only seen Trilogy of the Dead, which I simply love. What a great trilogy (if you look away from his latest entry, Land of the Dead). How he mixes satire with entertainment is genious, and the material is filled with such extraordinary themes.

No. Ok, it was a bit scary here and there, but overall it was just dumb. Poor film.

I personally think it is the BEST horror film ever made (I hope you arent talking about the remake). One of the reasons though is because I got the chance to see it on the big screen.

I`m talking about the original. I can understand why people like it, and when you say that you saw it on the big screen, I definitely have no problem understand you. When that`s said, I`m not one of the greatest horror-fans around. Still, I can like a movie in any genre, only it`s good enough.

I voted for Cronenberg but I don't even count him as horror. But I think Romero is a better director but I like Cronenberg better.

Do any of you have any reccomendations concerning Romero? As I said earlier, I have just seen Trilogy of the Dead. Could be useful with some input and advice...
