My dad just rented me the Last Drop. I can't even find the DVD cover. Its a war movie with Michael Madsen. May watch just because I love Madsen. May not watch because nobody I have talked to has heard of it.

Oh God! I hate everyone who hates the film. People vote 1's on fucking IMDB. To vote a one it would have to be the worst thing you have ever seen and everyone knows the second half is at least worth 5. I personally think it is underrated now and I LOVE the film.

I would give it a 5 just like you said. The first half is so bad it hurts. The second half cant make up for it either. A terrible film. It would have been so much better if it wasn't so melodramatic.

I agree with criterion. A terrible film? NO. The first half is not dreadful, it is well paced and interesting. The second half is extraordinary. You have already proved many times that you have no taste (calling Ghost Dog one of your favorite movies is one of many examples I can think of), so you'd be wiser to go in your little corner and shut up.

Just because i have a different opinion means I have no taste? I'm sorry but you guys criticize a little too seriously. It is a bad movie. There is no way around it. It is probably the most overrated film of all time. I dont like it at all. That is my opinion. If you choose not to agree, I really dont care.

I think titanic is worth a 6/10. The last hour or so where the boat is sinking and Jack is chained up etc are really quite exciting and visually splendid. The first part is alright but it gets saggy throughout that first act and doesn't have very much direction. Though for all its star power and sfx its a worthwhile film. Did anyone see the alternate ending? How crap!

Some of Spielberg's stuff is OK & some of Jarmusch's stuff is OK. Neither are up there with Kubrick, Tarr, Kurosawa or Bergman.
