Christ, Le Samourai is so high! I didn't even know you liked Nashville so much, fantastic choice though! El Topo got moved WAY down from where it was before, any reasons? And how is Million Dollar Baby still hanging on? That really is a bad film, maybe well made but still...

El Topo has lost its effect on me over time, still one of my favorites, but not as high up as it used to be. Million Dollar Baby is an excellent film from Clint, it might be a little formulaic, but it still rocks my world. I don't really care if you don't like it.

Nice. Dirty Harry and The Great Escape are a couple of the one's I don't like particulary much, but there are so many wonderful, classic films on your list. And good job with the images!

Nice pictures, has Bleu always been your favorite? No, La Double vie de Veronique was my favorite for about a year till' I saw Bleu for the seventh time or something a couple of weeks ago and it surprisingly managed to punch through me. I even noticed certain things that I didn't remember at all. Bleu is so heartbreaking and beautiful it's a that kinda film I just can't help love everything about.  |

nah, i have come to respect your love of man bites dog, that is an amazing film, and is somewhere in my top 100, as well. million dollar baby on the other hand, yes, not a good movie. but other movies i don't like that much, although i still might like them a lot: the shawshank redemption (it felt too hollywood for me the first time i saw it, although it isn't shit, just wasn't super good), andrei rublev (i just posted thoughts on that in the tarkovsky thread), brazil (it is a good film, but for me, it didn't blow me away that much, needs a re-watch though), your highest kubrick is number like 46 (!!), badlands is super low, and maybe a couple of other little things. it just seems nuts to only have one kubrick on here, yet you have once upon a time in mexico or groundhog day on there.

I moved up Pan's Labyrinth to 83 or so, The Lives of Others became 99 and The Departed fell out of the top 100.
