Total Recall is the very definition of awesome, and Schwartzy is the ultimate action hero. Sucks that he went and made shit like Collateral Damage though. Let's all have a minute silence for him.

Dancer in the Dark is now number two on my list. It is one of the most powerful and sad films I have ever seen. I feel it is a little low on your list.

Vertigo is one of Hitch's most deep films so I can see why you like it the most, it is one of my favorites from him.

The Man Who Fell to Earth, as I told you it would, most have grown on you tons. It did the same for me.

Buffalo '66, just an amazing film that I like just a little bit more than Brown Bunny.

Not a fan of Cronenberg at all, hence why all his films are in my worst. The best out of those is Dead Ringers but still didn't like it very much.

Oh, I still think it's great but it's been ages since I watched it so I can't remember it too well.

Oh, I just remembered it being on your list pretty high and now it was gone, didn't know what happened to it. I still remember it pretty well, and while I didn't think it was a masterpiece, it was still good. I can't believe they sell the film at Hot Topic (don't know if you know what that place is though?).

Yeah, that's fine. Even the "Vote for Pedro" shirts are fine, although as we've discussed it is a little bit too popular to wear and not have to deal with foolish people, so long as you wear it because you want to wear it. Not because you want to look cool.

Thank you very much, I really dig your taste in film too. You have a very concise list. I like Lost In Translation but I've only watched it once, Buffalo '66 is one of the best films of the 90s, simply amazing, the climax in the end with the Yes song. Yes is one of my closest favorite bands by the way. Trouble Every Day is a helluva cool song by Zappa, but I have not seen the film. Can't seem to find it. It's either out of stock or unavailable. The Brown Bunny is on my MUST-GET list. I see you got my fav Jarmusch film up there, Down By Law is wonderful - if I've got the chance to make a film I'd love to do one in that kinda odd, mysterious and free mood.

I also like and appreciate the following films: Barry Lyndon (#3 on my list), After Hours, Husbands And Wives, Annie Hall, In The Bedroom, Caché, Vertigo, Dancer In The Dark and Mulholland Dr.

I have nothing against your Lynch picks, but for me The Elephant Man is first in line. The last time I watched it through, I felt a sudden urge for being a better person. And to be affected like that is for me something like a proof of quality, of how good David Lynch is as a filmmaker and storyteller. The last time I watched The Straight Story I cried and I never usually cry when I watch films. When I saw Mulholland Dr for the first time, I watched it two more times in the same week. I had certain images of that film in my dreams afterwards. I actually like all of his films when I think about it.
