FILMS THAT CAUSE RAGE WITHIN ME
POWDER, THE BOONDOCK SAINTS, SIGNS
I consider these three movies to be THE UNHOLIEST PIECE OF SHIT THREE MOVIES ON EARTH EVER MADE. There are technically worse movies, but these three piss me off with greater intensity than any others that I've seen. They are very close to being the purest representation of what I hate in movies.
FILMS THAT I DISLIKE QUITE A BIT
THE RAGE: CARRIE 2, RESIDENT EVIL APOCALYPSE, THE GODSEND, THE PHANTOM MENACE, FANTASTIC FOUR, LOST IN SPACE, EXORCIST 2, AEON FLUX, BATTLEFIELD EARTH, AMERICAN BEAUTY, MONKEY BONE, CRASH (2005)
These movies seriously irritate me. I don't hate them quite as much as the three above, but I'm still angry that I had to sit through them even once.
FILMS THAT I DON'T LIKE, BUT DON'T REALLY GET TOO PISSED ABOUT
THE HULK, THE MESSENGER: THE STORY OF JOAN OF ARC, THE FIFTH ELEMENT, BLOODRAYNE, HOUSE OF WAX
These bug me, but not enough to arose anger. Maybe just discomfort. If I'm in a good mood, maybe I can watch them.
There are others, but these come quickly to mind.

Ugh, the inclusion of American Beauty with those shit piles angers me, but I can forgive it for that awesome comment on Boondock Saints you left me. Man I fucking hate that site, there are so many retards who haunt that place like it is a MySpace. All the do is say “hey wot u?P?” and ask to be your friend. In fact the only reason I go on there is to make fun of people's "taste" nowadays; although there are some good people on there. So many funny comments I left people. I will go and post them in the "Flixster" thread they are so funny.
And thank you for reminding me about Signs, easily one of my most hated.

We have philosophical differences when it comes to American Beauty; it's just one of those things.
I don't really like anything by M. Night Shyamalan. Unbreakable is the only movie by him I can tolerate. His style is just too self-important for my tastes.
I don't go to Flixster much, except to rate movies I've seen. Most of the people are indeed inane. The Boondock Saints is an unbearable turd that too many people like.

Well for me M. Night is an entertaining director, I respect him if only for his interview on the Strangers on a Train DVD. I like The Sixth Sense; I liked it much more before I realized how much he stole from Fanny and Alexander without giving credit to it once. Nothing he has done has blown me away, but he definitely has the possibility to.
God, Fantastic Four ruined easily one of the best comics ever. It is sickening to even think about, WHAT THE FUCK, I mean come on, 50 FUCKIN' Cent, I am going to slit my wrists now.

some great picks, though...boondock saints makes me wanna puke just thinking about that over-stylized mess that's just the mcmanus brothers screaming their fucking heads off and willem dafoe acting overly-gay for 90 minutes...and props for mentioning the god-awful lost in space, carrie 2, monkey bone, and one that nobody ever criticizes for the overly-sentimental mess that it is, Crash.

I've seen it about four times and liked it less each time. It just doesn't work for me. I agree with you. Although I don't hate the movie, I think it's grossly overrated. We see a plastic bag floating around in the wind and hear some stuff about beauty in the world. That just sounds really retarded and pretentious. All the characters other than Spacey are boring and one dimensional. All they do is hate hate hate their lives. Annette Bening clearly overacted. If it weren't for Spacey this movie would be really bad. |
