Got some good stuff here (LOTR and MPATHG), some pretty meh stuff (GWAPE and POTA), then you got some dismal stuff (Da Vinci Code and MOAG)

Not enough movies to really get an opinion on you yet but I really only like two movies on there Holy Grail and Return of the King, the latter much more.

Way to be nice to someone new, there. Considering that, in actuality, I've only seen the Da Vinci Code out of all of those movies, I can't really comment much on the quality of the movies listed here. But I might recommend trying to add more movies to your list, though, including giving them a ranking order. Most of the people here are just too obsessive about movies, but if you honestly enjoy those movies, then there's no harm.

First of all: Welcome to the forum!
From what year is your Phantom of the Opera-pick?
The Da Vinci Code was so tame and dull and uninteresting I could barely stay in the theatres. Return of the King, on the other hand, is quite impressive, and I remember sitting there in the cinema, amazed at it's hugeness (is that a word I can use?).

welcome to the forum i love the Lord of the Rings movies and Star Wars and Pulp Fiction, and holy grail's pretty good, even though there's only so much Python I can take in one sitting... the other stuff here that i've seen i can't really say i was impressed with. my advice is to see some older stuff that people our age don't usually watch... but not to worry. we're all here to help. we'll guide you in this little movie-watching odyssey welcome again.

Very, very nice additions. While some of the films I still hate, you added a lot more I really like, including one that is in MY top 20, Pulp Fiction. Miyazaki is the master, and Rushmore is one of the best comedies ever made, ever. The soundtrack is stunning as well.

Well, as the saying goes: If you bring Miyazaki to the party, then everyone's happy. Except for the good Captain...

Some good new stuff added, I enjoyed Troy and Kingdom of Heaven. Rushmore, Pulp Fiction and Star Wars are all masterpieces. I don't enjoy anime or Miyazaki as ie brought to your attention, so I can't approve Mononoke, Spirited Away, or Millennium Actress. King Arthur sucked, as did the Messenger.
