I must say, not quite as impressive of an entrance as a certain somebody, but a good entrance none the less. Well Come to these parts.


As for your list, it's very well balanced in terms of old movies and some newer ones, so most people here will dig it.

I didn't quite enjoy a couple on your list, but that's how life goes. Which ones you ask? Of course you asked. Well, here's a quick list, which I'll put in a spoiler tag so that way you can ignore it if you'd like:

Anatomy of a Murder - maybe it was just copied once too many times
Boogie Nights - still need to finish it, but it just wasn't interesting to me
Se7en - didn't work for me
...and, you thought those were shocking...

The Godfather
I've tried to watch this movie twice, and each time, after about one hour I get bored to death by it. The problem was, I read the novel first, where every sentence was either fascinating or at least kept you interested, and, where you could pick a section at random and find yourself reading five minutes later. So naturally, I figured that would make a smooth transition, especially since when I first started reading I was like "this is a movie." I'm sorry, I have to be honest with myself here, I was not satisfied.

I won't end on a rant, though. Quite a few I want to see on your list, a couple that I enjoyed - I guess only Taxi Driver and both versions of 12 Angry Men - and a couple that I own but haven't seen yet. And again, Well Come.

Such an amazing list, anyone who has seen Untitled is a fan of mine. You are one of the few on the forum who has seen it. I'll comment all the ones I have seen someday.
