It was announced as a clue in the last newsletter dude, something about 'golden hour' with dragon flies underneath, it has to be DoH. Plus with all the deals Paramount has been making with CC it makes since. I would love to see badlands get a CC release, but def. haven't heard anything about that one. And who knows how involved Malick wants to get, im guessing we wont get a commentary, but hopefully he doesn't pull a Marker and at least gives us an interview or at least minimal introduction. Im guessing it'll just be 'director approved' HD transfer and all that good stuff.

well, i watched new world and really liked it a lot, although, i actually thought it was malick's weakest film. it did a great job at not becoming cliché or overly sentimental, which would have been so easy to do with a story like this. but i wasn't as engrossed in the film, as i was with his other efforts. maybe the story felt "done" before or something, and therefore i didn't become totally involved with the picture. but other than that, it was a fantastic film. obviously i knew it was going to look nice, but i couldn't even have imagined it could look that nice. and all the performances, yes, even from colin, were really good. the lead actress should have gotten some awards for her role, in my opinion, she was the best actor in the whole film. the end montage was just beautiful. i think the best thing to do with this film is let it sit with me longer, and see what comes of it. as of now i give it a strong 9/10, same as thin red line, with days of heaven and badlands both getting 10s. ranking: 1. badlands 2. days of heaven 3. thin red line 4. new world.
