I love this movie. Definetly not for everyone but good if you can appreciate is and don't mind the porn inserts.

Hmm I didn't like that. The action was poorly shot and full of pretentious and ridiculous slow motion. Dreadfully bare mise en scene, probably the worst I've ever seen. The training sequences were stupid and frustratingly simplistic. I liked nothing about this terrible crap.

Please someone tell me what this piece of music is called, or where I can download this clip. I MUST know, thanks. Love this clip to much and want to use it for a project. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsedFFE6bwo&NR

The slow motion shots were painful to watch and the action was hokey at times. The "inserts" may not have been needed either. Depiste all that I enjoyed the movie.

Great site man, thanks for the link! There are so many trailers I need to watch now.
Has anyone here seen Cannibal Holocaust? I am about half way through it.

I own this bad boy, and it's quite a ride. I'd have to say Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS and Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks are the most shocking and revolting. The Wicked Warden isn't nearly as nasty, but it was directed by Jess Franco who is either legendary or infamous among cult enthusiasts, depending on who you ask.

Has anyone seen Matango: Attack of the Mushroom People? I was watching a show with Tarantino where he had a huge poster of it and mentioned the film. It looks stunning and is from the same guy who did Gojira among many other films.

Was it that Iconoclasts show on the Sundance channel where he mentioned that you don't actually see the cool stuff you see in the posters? ...Either way, I haven't seen it.

I got a question, has anyone heard of either of these films? I saw the first one while out at CD Warehouse, and it looked amazing. The cover compared the film to Fellini and Bunuel, and said something like "A Fellini film...on dope!" on the back. And this made me look into the film mentioned on the front cover, and the more I looked into it, I found out that it also looked just as amazing. And on Amazon, for some reason, it says that Jodorowsky has something to do with it, is that true? Amazon LinkAmazon LinkAny information about these at all would be nice.

The guy who directed Alucarda produced El Topo, if I'm not mistaken. I saw Alucarda last year and I remember it being pretty freaky. I keep meaning to watch it again, but it kind of creeped me out in a lingering sort of way. I haven't seen The Mansion of Madness.

Well, thanks for clearing that up. I might have to check it out sometime, if you remember it being creepy. It looked pretty sweet to me, and that other one I will probably add to the queue as well.

www.imdb.com/name/nm0529877/Yeah, this proves it about Moctezuma producing El Topo. Alucarda is one of the nastier movies I've seen. I can't really describe it, but there's a really unpleasant quality to the movie. I did watch it at 3 A.M. while half asleep, so maybe I should check it out again. I keep thinking about the nuns wrapped in the bloody clothes. I think it was blood.

I think you're being culturally insensitive. Also, there is no way to verify if in fact this quote is true. And I take issue with your interpretation of said quote.

You seriously need to get through a whole lot more people before you can even think of calling me culturally insensitive, so, we'll just address the other issue here. I've heard a clip of him saying that joke before, and it's not meant to be like "oh, hah, hah, Mexicans are funny." It's just like all of Mitch Hedberg's quotes, a funny way of looking at the situation. And also, sorry, I really don't really care about the difference between a tortilla and a burrito. I hope that doesn't make me racist, because this whole thing was just suppose to be a fucking joke. I can't even joke about movies like this or the Brown Bunny with people. What the fuck is up with that?

What the fuck is up with that? I guess I should have included a or a ;D or a . I was just joking. When I said that there was no way to verify that a "tortilla is a sleeping bag for a human", I thought that was an absurd enough a statement to indicate I wasn't being serious. Perhaps I was being too dry. I don't think that you're racist. It's OK.

Oh, you're right. Sorry, I got a little carried away, but a wink would have helped. Anyways, I see what you mean, and I have a question so we'll move onto that:
What would you call a movie like Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!? The whole, seemingly, exploitation subgenre where women go around doing violent things? It seems like it could, or really should, be a subgenre.
