Cannibal Ferox

Cannibal Ferox is the gutter version of Cannibal Holocaust. While Holocaust is pretty well-made, Ferox is cheap and sleazy. It's mostly just a series of shocking and repugnant scenes without much coherence. Ferox simply lacks the visceral impact of Holocaust. It's good for mindless carnge, but nothing else. And Ferox really isn't even that revolting. Cannibal Holocaust makes a considerably stronger impact overall.

Depending on my mood, I probably could enjoy both movies equally. Holocaust is a higher quality film, though, without a doubt.

This is something I have been wanting to see, I was trying to see both this and Cannibal Holocaust for so long now. I am going to watch this soon, and will come back with thoughts.
