I'm really starting to understand why everyone here likes hilariously bad movies...
I don't really recommend the original, because besides being a campy Gojira knock-off, there are really only a few noteworthy things about it. However, the remake has some of the worst acting, worst dialogue and worst camera movements that I've ever seen. And I'm still only about thirty minutes in.
But, it's such a riot to laugh at, so I'm thinking that anyone here who likes bad campy movies would just love it.

(note: Yonggary had not used fireballs up until this point, then, massive fireball attacks.)

*chuckles* "Yeah, Daddy loves E.T."
"You're kidding."
*shakes head in disagreement*
"Daddy... loves... E.T.... At least our government has a sense of humor."
"...Will be destroyed by his own intelligence."
"What intelligence?"
"Mister monster, I'd like you to meet my... little friend... Barbeque this, bucko!!!!!"
"You've just worn out your welcome. It's time you've returned... to history."
"It's twenty stories high, he's a monster!" When obviously he looks more about 9000 stories tall....
