For anyone that has seen Last House on the Left, this is pretty much the same movie except for that it has more style and takes place on a train. As many may already know, Last House on the Left has the same basic story as Virgin Spring, but Virgin Spring is way better. So Night Train Murders is kind of in the middle. It lacks the depth of Virgin Spring and the raw nastiness of Last House on the Left, but at least it looks pretty good. I do like it more than Last House on the Left, though. It might be worthwhile if you feel the need to see all the variations on Virgin Spring. Grossness *** Cruelty *** Overall Disturbing Content ***1/2 Nudity *1/2 Film Quality **1/2 (Out of *****)

I havent seen The Last House on the Left, but I saw a trailer for this on youtube and I think ill give it a try. Theres some thing odd about movies on a train . Examples would be Horror Express, Night Train to Terror, Snakes on a Plane, and Strangers on a Train. (thats probably wrong, I cant remember the hitchcock one.)

Have you seen Terror Train with Jamie Lee Curtis? I watched it a long time ago, but I barely recall it. It wasn't too bad for a slasher, I think.
Last House on the Left is much better known than Night Train Murders (Roger Ebert actually gave Last House a good review!), but it's not as crappy in my opinion. I'm not saying Night Train Murders is great, but it's got style. It's not really that violent through most of the picture. Have you see Virgin Spring? It influenced both movies, but it's not at all a horror movie itself.
