Nazi depravity and prostitution... a winning formula!

The Nazis want to spy on their officers, so they set up a surveillance operation in a whorehouse stocked with women trained as spies and prostitutes.

Italian director Tinto Brass brought this decadent film to the screen, and his fondness for the female buttocks is hard to miss. Though this film is not as sadistic or nasty as Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS, Salon Kitty has its share of disturbing scenes. At times it reminds me of a much more warped version of the film Cabaret, with its song and dance numbers, sexuality and Nazi subject matter. Salon Kitty is a stylish, gotesque, perverse film. Anybody with a garter belt fetish or who wants to see a high-quality Nazisploitation epic should check this out.

I saw a trailer for this on Blueunderground.com and it looked pretty good.

Salon Kitty is almost non-stop nudity and depravity, but it is well-made and has a story. It's an exploitation film that doubles as an art film, at least, sort of.

Well, I added this to my queue, I will bump it up to around spot 8, so I should get it sometime. I haven't seen any Ilsa films, so this will be my first 'Nazisploitation' film. I hope this is good.

Most of the Naziisploitation films that I'm aware of are heavy on torture and depravity, but this one is much more focused on the depravity side. There is some violence, but nothing anywhere near Ilsa. Compared to other Nazisploitation type movies, Salon Kitty is fairly classy.
